VERY TRUE!! if you can get some points posting up you`ll have a much better chance at winning the game! i post up quite often and find it to be very effective! maybe a little to effective?

ah,the foul mistake man does that get u pissed? its happened to me also,i had it set on "ON" see now i have it set to "auto" when u have it on auto the CPU of ur team knows when to foul so they will foul when they need to,not when they don't. set your fouling settings to Auto,it will work better like that,so dumb mistakes don't happen again.

Alright, the sonics strength is shooting.....so work the ball around and shoot it.....seriously, Radmanvic and Barry are arguably the best 3pt shooters in the league, Rashard is a great shooter, Payton is as well, and Mason is right with them. You should be able to put up 100+ points a night depending on there ratings. If I were you I would use Payton, Barry, Mason, Lewis, Radmanvic and just shoot and run the fast break like crazy.

I played like this last night before I read your post...and it worked pretty well. I had a nice away win in Washington. I won 103 - 97.

The main thing that got me home was I employed a 2-3 zone. I thus had some big guys waiting in the paint everytime Stackhouse and Hughes tried to pentrate. I was able to contest most their shots. This also basically meant I was giving up the three point shot. I was cool with this, as I know Washington don't have great 3 point shooters.

Stackhouse was 0-5 from 3 point land and Hughes 1 from 4. All up, the wiz were 3 from 16 from downtown.

I was able to use GP and BB to hustle on the perimeter also, so that helped as I was getting hands in their faces on some three's. Some were wide open...so I was sweating on Stack and Hughes missing open three's a few times.

I'd tried these tactics when we went to New Orleans...AND IT FAILED BADLY as Mash and company hot about 50% of their threes.

The tactical aspect of this game is amazinglys cool.

and Monkey- how`s your 3 point percentage when you use the C`s? i`ve been throwing up a lot bricks in season mode but single game i shoot a decent percentage.

is it just me or is this game harder in season mode?

I thnk it's harder in season mode as (I am presuming) you play longer games. ie, in exhibition I tend to play 5 min quarters...but in season I play 10.

Using turbo a lot doesn't make you pay until you play longer games...as guys get tired and miss heaps.

Yes also, I am positive season games are much harder also.

When using the C's,I was having hot and cold nights. One game I'd light it up and the next I couldn't buy a bucket. The C's can be hard, because when Pierce and AW are hot...you can rack up a big score. When they are cold...there's no inside game to fall back on.

When using them, a lot depended on the match up. Playing an east caost team, I'd back in AW a lot. Playing WC teams it was much harder.

I have stuck with the Sonics now...last nights road win has lifted the spirits and next games is back in Seattle. (albeit v Sac...so it will be TOUGH)

I have the 2 point % one notch higher for the home team...so that 5 game road trip was tough. I got back 2 and 3. Beat Miami and Washington, lost to Orlando (T-Mac and Hill are impossible to stop) lost to NO (more likem killed by them) and lost to Houston.

yeah i play 8 min qrts so it`s pretty tuff when you have to make subs and change up your offensive game plan throughout the game.

when i went on that winning streak i really wasn`t blowing teams out i was just making plays towards the end of the game. i wasn`t showing the CPU everything i can do early in the game. so doing this seems to help a little.

my next game is agaisnt the kings they beat me earlier in the season... bibby had a field day in the last game. i might try double teaming him early in the game and force him to give up the ball. but when he gives it to christie he will light it up too. it`s hard to decide how to defend this team. but i will give it a go! i`ll let you know later what the outcome is!

but yeah i would have to say season mode is quite a bit harder than single game mode! just wanted to know what other people thought about these two modes...

I played them today and lost 92 -71. Webber had 30 and 10 and Bibby fast breaked me to death. It was a dominant win...especially as I had Sac, as the away team, down one notch on 2 pt %,

When I played Washington, they only had one block against me. Sac had 7...so I should have adjusted more.
