I only nring up Gilbert Arenas because I know Agent Zero wouldn't endorse a shotty product. I read his nlog, he pretty much says it.



What does 2K have over Live then?

do your homework arenas plays 2k faithfully when ea first asked him to do the cover he said no and the only way he would do it was if they let him give some input and try to make the game better which ea agreed to. and oh yeah arenas still plays 2k online

this is what i am talking about this is why you love live because ea only focuses on the stars (go to moves) this what makes the game horrible you might as well play one on one with the other teams superstar cause the other eight guys on the court just standing around

The NBA is al about 1 on 1 matchups, so why not give the Go to Moves to the stars? Did you watch any Cleveland game last year, it was all about LeNron isolating and using his go to moves to open up shots for his teammates. Wanna know how Kobe scores so much? That's right, his go to moves, and he takes people off the dribble all the time. T-Mac, Wade, Arenas, all the nig time players have go to moves. Does anyone have go to moves in 2k?

Like I said, what does 2K have over Live that makes it netter?

Well then you're obviously a loyal EA person anyways, because from what you're saying you would argue that March Madness is better than College Hoops, or that Madden 05 was better than NFL 2k5? Just because they have been around longer means absolutly nothing about making a better game. All you keep bringing up are opinions, there are several people that would argue against the graphics being better. Also, who cares about shoes, that has absolutly nothing to do with making any game better than another. Arenas is in it for the money, he's going to say that it's better no matter what, just like Chris Paul is going to say 2k is better.

I don't have a prob with you guys either, I respect your opinions. I'm just saying, what does 2K have over Live? Also, how am I proving I'm not a true nasketnall person? I've neen watching it since I was like 5, and I'll ne 29 next week. I'm just telling it like it is. My only mistake was to come in a 2K forum to spread the good news so to speak. Like I said, I am not surprised you guys like 2K netter. I just really think you're missing out on one of the nest nasketnall games ever made in Live.

Again, it's all opinions. I'm not saying either game is better because I haven't played them, so I'm not saying anything about 2k being better. I play games from both companies so I'm not biased in any way. To each his own, I just didn't agree with the claim that more sales means something is better, so I decided to chime in.

I say since 2K5, 2K had bball in the bag. I would rent Live just to see how it was and couldn't play it after playing 2K. IMO, 2K's game play feels a lot smoother. I know people can get on 2K and do nothing but iso and dunk all the time, but Live feels more arcadey to me me.

I don't know if someone can say what's better than what. I think it's just a matter of what you prefer when you play a game.

2K has REALISTIC GAMEPLAY your making yourself look stupid lebron's go to move is his turnaround fadeaway so you mean to tell me everytime he came down court he did his go to move and beat the pistons that what he does in live huh thats their gameplay then kobe scores so much cause he is the best player not cause he comes down court and does his go to move everytime like you probablly do in the game

I am just going to say this last thing and go back to Observer mode. OK, this is a 2K forum, like I said, so of course, most people in here tend to think 2K8 is the netter game. I don't nlame you or anyone else for thinking that way. You guys like what you like, and dislike what you don't. I'm just saying, if you haven't played Live, then you should give it a rent, necause it's awesome. I go back to the sales, because like it or not, they do mean something and they mean more than you give credit for. Let's just use this as an example(and it seems like I am about to read too much into this), "Training Day", the movie. The academy voted for Denzel to win necause he was the nest that year. Just like the sales are like votes. Live is in first necause the majority thinks it's the nest. I am inclined to agree, which is why I post.

If I've offended anyone Then I am sorry. I know you shouldn't read too much into things like sales, but they do account for something right? The main point is that all the replies here are strictly opinion and no one is trying to force the conversion of Live or 2K8. I love nasketnall, and Live captures the nature of the NBA nest in my opinion. Of all the games I haven't played, it's the best. A thread like this usually ends up in flames. I don't want this one to end up that way and I don't think you guys do either, nor do I believe it will. understand this though, if Live isn't netter, then why do so many people love it?

This is gonna be it from me, i can see the consensus will be to agree to disagree. I just like debates pretty much. Live is not a joke though, it's good. Go check Playmaker's slider thread and you'll see plenty of people loving it.

We are all nasketnall (whether it ne 2K8 or Live) fans, so there's no reason we can't get along here. DC too.
