    Amazing shot from HS game

This is pretty crazy. It's from a HS game this past week between Northwest and Walnut Hills in Cincinnati. The question is whether he got it off before the buzzer. Kind of hard to tell. By the way, Northwest ended up losing 56-48 in OT.

Re: Amazing shot from HS game

    Reminds me of a story...

I used to work out early in the day years back and would often have the whole YMCA gym to myself. I would run up and down, shoot and build up a good sweat before I lifted weights.

One day I couldn't miss, I was ready to lift weights but I hadn't missed a shot in no exaggeration my last 50, some full speed layups, reverses, many from 20-25 feet, pull up bankers, I was contemplating stopping or waiting until I missed one. It's a full court with 4 other baskets like most gyms so you can split the court in 2. I just kept hitting NBA 3's over and over (halfcourt on the split court) and after I hit the last one and decided I was done the ball came back to me at the foul line extended. I said out loud "I can't f'ing miss and threw the ball the length of the court on my way out the side door to go lift. 65 feet, threw it at the far basket, nothing but net. I lifted my hands and said to myself, no one would ever believe this and left the gym.

There's my little story for the evening.

Doesn't look to me like he got it off before the buzzer...

Yep. That wouldn't stand if it was a college or NBA game.

That was at least a half second after the buzzer. Nice shot though.

BTW this one is pretty recent as well, I like it more.

Yeah, I saw that one on SportsCenter. That one was pure luck. He just threw it up in the general direction of the basket and it sank right in!

Amazing shot - good thing somebody had a camera otherwise only 20 people would've seen it
