Any good basketball text sims?

I enjoy text simulation games (like Baseball Mogul) and was curious if there was a preferred basketball one? Any thoughts or suggestions?

I am with you. I played Out of The Park (www.OOTP.com). It is excellent.

I had a Commodore 64 as a kid and Avalon Hill had Statis Pro Baseball...Still my favorite text-based simulation baseball game ever..

I don't think there's any good ones... I've been looking myself but haven't found one worth paying for yet.

There's Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball by a company called Wolverine Studios. You can download a demo from the website here. http://www.wolverinestudios.com/ddspb/ OS reviewed the game and gave it an 8 http://www.operationsports.com/review.php?id=57 They also have a college basketball text sim as well to go along with the Pro one. Also, the sequel to Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball is supposed to be coming out sometime in the near future from what I have read.

Also, if your looking for a good college basketball text sim Fast Break College Basketball is really good. It doesn't look like much now since it is like 6 years old but, the game is just fun to play. You can download a demo from http://www.fbbgames.com/fbcb/ They too have a pro game as well but, I vastly prefer the college version.

I've also been researching but strat-o-matic and action pc basketball have looked like the top 2.

Anybody playing DDS: college basketball? the tournament has got me thinking about it. I have done the demo and thought it was decent just wondering if anyone has got the game and played it for a while

If there were any good real world mods, I'd buy DDS:CB too.

There's World Basketball Manager, cost a little money but it's pretty fun, and you can play as any league in the world, not just NBA teams. The NBA players/team names are fake, but there are mods on the website to take care of that.
