who here remembers basketball-game.com? i wrecked that game back in the day. that was so fun. you created 1 on 1 characters and managed/trained them with weekly games, but it didn't fall to the things that make most of those types of games suck hard, it was a perfect medium in all aspects

There's World Basketball Manager, cost a little money but it's pretty fun, and you can play as any league in the world, not just NBA teams. The NBA players/team names are fake, but there are mods on the website to take care of that.

I'm quite interested since I love Football Manager but it looks so low rent and I've read there are no career stats for players. I want to give it a try, and I know it's only $9 but I'm a little wary of it.

Is Action PC Basketball just a season replay game or can you act as a GM and build a franchise through free agency and a draft etc?
