How is saying that the passing is too easy like saying the graphics are too good? He's saying that you can make a perfect pass to anybody no matter where you are on the court or what you're doing.

No hes not and if he is that is not true of the game any way.

I always see post defenders fronting players and my cross court passes always get
picked off. The passing aint the problem its his defense or the cpu's setting.

I dont see this problem in the game especially compared to Live and 2K's passing.

How could you make passing harder?

I've ALMOST never said anything that wasn't provoked. If you include me in your post, I will defend myself. If I've insulted anyone it's only because they've deserved it as far as I'm concerned. I generally refrain from posting crap, and I keep my posts relevant to the topic for the most part, but apparently some people can't see that. Sometimes, I admit, I do get carried away and will insult someone, like FortheCity. Personally, I think his views are pretty shallow, and they're representative of the gaming community today. Which is annoying, but I've made my peace with it. In any case, doesn't matter.

As for the passing being picked off, I never said that it doesn't happen. I'm just saying the passes never go out of bounds. Suppose NOBODY was in position to pick off the pass on the other end of the court and you heave a cross court pass with a lousy passer, it shouldn't always go to the intended recipient. It most definitely doesn't in Live 2003. I've seen cross court passes go out of bounds from time to time in Live 2003, especially during fast breaks, which is something I think should happen in ID 2004. Also, there is ONE sort of "money" play in ID 2003. It's one where you are the post player, and you're being doubleteamed while a teammate of yours cuts to the basket. It's just way too easy to split the doubleteam with the pass and the teammate will get that pass for an easy dunk. The defense's hands aren't active enough to discourage this, but it'd be much harder to execute this play in real life and stuff.

I think you should stop trying to distinguish between a lie and an opinion, because I'm not stating something that's completely false. I'm just stating an OPINION. Hell, I have no reason to make false claims about ID 2003, because I'm a huge proponent of the game. If you've been here on the forum long enough, you'd know that by now.

It actually looks good NEO. In the vids, the ball movement is great...one where TD gets doubled, it goes out...quick to Parker who 'flicks' on to big shot Bob for the three. Looks nice.

Note to Princefree also...you sound like you know the game, but cool off on NEO and the 'idiot' claims. If there's one guy on these boards who knows ID, it's him....you'll see that once you are here a while
