It actually looks good NEO. In the vids, the ball movement is great...one where TD gets doubled, it goes out...quick to Parker who 'flicks' on to big shot Bob for the three. Looks nice.

Note to Princefree also...you sound like you know the game, but cool off on NEO and the 'idiot' claims. If there's one guy on these boards who knows ID, it's him....you'll see that once you are here a while

I have been here for a long while myself I forgot my password or something so I just changed screen names.

Neo is wavering on his claims first he says the passing is too easy then he says the ball doesnt
go out of bounds enough on breaks and double teams. The key word is Enough that is his opinion,
but when I stated my opinion of the touch pass feature he took me for a joke.

I then stated how passing in Live and ESPN is also "easy" or sometimes unrealistic and what can
he base his claims on. Those 2K3 bobbled passes and goofy mystery steals in Live03 are hated by
many even the developers said they fixed these issues this year.

So who has made an IDIOT claim?

I love to talk about ID good or bad this is not personal its just a game. I would rather school
neo and monkey on XBL.

No, I don't think you're reading me right here. I never said Live 2003 and NBA 2k3 were better at the passing. I'm just saying ID 2003's can be improved. I liked the fact that passes go out of bounds from time to time, especially when they throw it across the court in Live 2003. That doesn't happen in ID 2003. The ball does go out of bounds but only RARELY, and in situations where the ball is SLAPPED out of bounds by you or when a shot is blocked. Which is another thing I'd like to see improvement on: deflections. Live 2004 has some very nice deflections, from what I've seen so far. Possibly the best I've seen yet.

Anyway, I may have overstated what I've been trying to say. The passing isn't bad right now, but it needs improvement, IMHO. Splitting doubleteams with the pass IS easy though. I'd like to see defenders react better in doubleteam situations, the way Live 2004 seems to do it, or at least CLAIMS to.

The defenders react to the pass very well in GENERAL, but the passing is a little too ACCURATE in ID 2003 for my tastes. Accurate as in that the teammate would always be able to catch the ball, even when it seems he shouldn't be able to. Sometimes it seems like the passes are floating towards the player, like the ball is altering its path to get into the hands of your teammate. It just doesn't look natural at times, IMHO.

You really seem intent on starting something here. I'm no more idiotic than you are, nor are my opinions any less valid than yours. So I'm asking again that you refrain from calling my claims idiotic.

This game as well as this development team are some lazy bastards. How can you give people the same game with new rosters and call it brand new? This game will stay in the class of shootout until it wakes up. just like no one is hollerin bout nfl fever, the same silence will be the response this game gets. this game licks horse nuts and it will be 3rd of 4 with shoot out being the only game worse than this b.s. I liked ID last year but i know laziness when i see it. and this game needs an overhaul.
