    Re: THE ULTIMATE B-BALL GAME?

I feel you on this issue Sonicmage , I'm sure PC owners are a little distraught on this matter, to say the least GC owners as well. Maybe if sales figure this year rolls in with a positive, who knows...next year perhaps. ...

Greetings Sonicsfans - When it comes to game comparison, I like to approach the gameplay's AI logic first and foremost. With Segas' title, the asthetic of the NBA is well placed. Given that the developers will always work on improving AI; the mo-cap can then be more varied thus, giving a more natural flow to players movement. It's the fundamental of basketball that I feel they are coming closer and closer to representing. The AI-logic is evolving as well.

With EA's title, surely they are working on the same aspect. I at times enjoy the title (LIVE) when indulging in a mulit-player game. But it could not give me the same feel that Segas title do. Recent competition from Segas team have only brought the innovation out of EA. For your question, it's yes and no.

With the right manipulation to the sliders-setting by the user ( thank goodness there's such a thing ), both title's arcade-feel can be tone down. My opinion, EA's more than Segas.
