Games is coming more believeable now by adding physics to the characters whole body in sports games its not perfect but its getting better year by year and if 2k stick to the way they been doing and think their safe they in for a rude awakening.
I will take can animation which there is more variety in nba 2k series than in the whole nba live series.I will also take can animation or robot physics that EA has.I cant see how anyone plays live with its robot physics.Everyone moves the same in NBA live.

Its going to be a time in your life where sports games will get realer and with that being said you will have to let it go one day because developers is moving into a new era of gaming.

            Hey EA,

Does your new engine have a HEMI?

this part I quoted in red below literally made me shiver in delight, but it should indeed worry the Visual Concepts 2K team because next October, they WILL find out that recycling every year ain't gonna cut it anymore, because brushing up just enough of the game to try to pass it off as "a whole new game" is not gonna produce results any further for their company

"When we rebooted the 'FIFA' franchise, we introduced a whole new team that rebuilt that engine from scratch. We did the same for 'NHL.' We completely rebooted and rebuilt that game....

now PLEASE, I'm not trying to stir the pot like a forum dbag, I dislike and love both Live and 2K equally, and most of us here are true simulation enthusiasts. So no matter if we like Live or 2K better if you ARE a true sim enthusiast this should all be good news, because all that's happening here is 2K made EA step their game up, and now EA is gonna make 2K do the exact same...
THIS IS GOOD NEWS FOR FANS OF BOTH FRANCHISES

I giggle like a little girl just thinking about next October when both of these games drop, have a good feeling the simulation crowd is finally gonna see something truly worth the title of "next generation sports sim"

oh and yes I am fully aware I'm puttin all my eggs in one basket, but at this point with all the disappointment we basketball sim enthusiasts have had to deal with, we are pretty much at a dead end, lol, got nothing else to lose
Haven't read the whole thread but my feeling is we will see a similar scenario to when the fifa engine was rebuilt, suddenly pro evo which had been the king was now the also ran. Pro evo is only now catching up again, but it's taken a while.

Don't get me wrong i love 2k bball games and if we get 2 great games then fantastic, I just see a situation whereby EA ups its game and takes over for a few years.
