I want to know a few things

Ok as many of you know, I am a Sega Sports [censored you naughty boy]. This is because I feel they make the best sports games on the market today. I, like alot of ESPN Basketball fans, was kind of upset with some of the things that happend with this years version. Don't get me wrong, I am still deep into my season and really enjoy the game but if there is a better alternative out there, I am totally up for it. Choice is a great thing.

    Some of my questions...

    1. Are the cameras better / worse than ESPN and why?
    2. Are there any unlockables like jerseys, teams, players - and so forth?
    3. Are the alternate Jerseys in this game? I sure as hell hope so.
    4. Is the franchise really deep? Or at least as deep as ESPN?
    5. Are all the real areans in there?
    6. Are there pre-game intros for EVERYGAME and/or Post game Wrap up?

Thanks a lot guys - these questions answered would be much appreciated

    1. I have'nt played ESPN but the camera angles in ID are marvolous. The Drive cam is revolutionary and the Broadast Cam looks just like a real TV broadcast.
    2. I have'nt seen any unlockables so far.
    3. The franchise does'nt seem really deep. I mean its not much you can do besides pplay games and look at stats. The off season is the regular, sign free agents, draft rookies and trad players, etc. But I would say Live and ESPN IMO are more deeper.
4.Sorry got the numbers mixed up, this is for question 3. Yes, there are alternate jerseys. But no classic or hardwood jerseys.
    5. The Arenas look the best out of all 3 IMO. There big and there are plenty of cut-scences to show it off.
    6. There are player Intros for both teams and the post game wrap up consist of comments made by the commentators. NO ESPN style post game wrap up.

Actually there is a post game wrapup, where they tell who the top players for each team are, and then the player of the game, and what team A and team B did. Overall, this game is excellent.

And yes, it does have ALL of the arenas, even Conseco fieldhouse. The cameras are much better in ID and a lot of them show off the arenas, and you have great vision in each camera. Just my two cents anyway. So Graphik, are you glad we talked you into this game?

ID cameras are better than ESPN.. You feel closer to the action.. the default camera angle is real nice.. haven't tried any others as of yet.. Without a doubt the Camera are way better in this game.

                5. Are all the real areans in there? Yes there are real arenas..and probably the best looking one's out of the other Bbball games I have played.. I can see all the Bulls Championship Banners hanging in the rafters and a few Blackhawk banners for whatever they are for... I played Philly yesterday.. and you will see all the Philadelphia Flyers Banners and I guess retired numbers hanging..up there as well; the arenas are brighter and a to me a bit livelier than ESPN, my opinion.

haha - just kidding. Ok those sound like great answers so far, this should at least warrent a rent. But you are telling me there are no unlockables. Nothing special for doing certain things? What game modes are there? Like Practice, Exhibition, 21, anything?

                      Thanks agian guys!

Talk to the hand Sureshot, lol.

Yeah, there are most likely unlockables. It just hasn't been out long enough for anyone to do anything. Like last year, you could unlock young Jordan (Rookie style), Pippen, Reggie Miller, and a whole lot of others, unlock different balls, and the rooftop court in Chicago. There are most likely unlockables though.

And if I were you, I would definatley rent the game, if not go ahead and spring for the purchase if you like the simulation aspect of basketball.
