I'm gonna go ahead and call bull$hit on this one.

Maybe they can't legally use the names of the Free Agents, but don't hand me that crap about not allowing us to edit them. You can edit amatuer athletes in college football and basketball games, you can edit pro players in all other major sports games. If it was illegal, do you think EA and Sega would be doing it?
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?

      Why call bull****

Also, don’t shoot the messenger, I am simply telling you what I have heard

The NBA is way different than the NFL or NCAA. The NBA has its on sets of rules, and it might not be a federal or even state law, it could just be that the NBA Players association said that if a player isn’t signed in real life, then he cant be in the game. Guess what, being singed means that if you not singed by the roster cutoff, your not in the game

Ive said it a million times, Ill probably say it another 20 billion , HV doesn’t care about this minor problem because of the fact that you can edit the rosters in XBL. It is legal for them to do it once the player has signed.

Let's just put it this way. In ESPN and NBA Live, you can edit any player's name you want to so I'm sticking with my bull$hit call. Either HVS didn't get the memo or someone's full of $hit.

Espn does have this option. It is puzzling to see why High Voltage couldn't get the rights to those free agents. ESPN's are pretty up-to-date. At least in comparison to ID 2004.

But at least you can update the rosters, now if Microsoft would put them up, it wouldn't be that big a deal.

Yeah, that's my point. They had the update up once and then took it down. What could have been so wrong with it that they need 2+ weeks to fix?
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?
