It sold OK. Even better after it dropped to 30.

Yeah the only problem I have with reviews is that they affect sales. If every site had written that ID is the best sim and it has this and that, cures the cancer and brings world peace people would've buy it more then they do.

ID is the best basketball game in several parts of the game and it deserves to get props for those parts.

Just to cause some trouble because I'm in the mood...

I have ID and like it, even though my Raps are hurting... (it's certainly not MY fault, is it?)

Anyway, I have an issue with one of the original posts that bring up the sliders. I believe that a review of the game should mention the sliders, but the reviewer SHOULDN'T have to tweak the sliders in order to get the game to play more "real" or whatnot.

I think all reviews should be made "out of the box", without tweaking. Can you imagine the uproar if Car and Driver started tweaking cars and THEN testing them?

Anyway, I just get a bit bothered when people say "why does he say the game plays like this? He should use the sliders!"

Maybe so, but at the very least MENTION those sliders, and possibly how effective they are. They don't have to review a game based on adjusted sliders, but they should give that one caveat that sliders could fix most of the game's gameplay problems. Either way, the reviewer obviously was ill-suited to review the game.

Look at the slider discusion for espn. The game is horrible out of the box, yet it gets 9's. Madden, was also forrible out of the box, but after some sliders it was great. Again, the sites give it 9's. Sports reviews just seem bias to me. They only really focus on the main releases.

and graphics. i don`t think graphics should be such a HUGE factor in reviewing a sports game. but to these reviewers it is. like if iverson has the wrong tatoo its a big deal to them. my gosh... its just a tatoo, it has nothing to do with the gameplay!
