Nah. No point, for me at least, to get two basketball games. I'm 100% certain 2K is gonna be the better game, and it's not even close.
I do hope Live keeps improving tho. It's good for competition. And if somehow, some way, Live ever surpasses 2K, then I'll switch to Live. I'm a fan of great games, not companies. -

Shouldn't this thread be in the Padded Cell, aka, the Live forum?
And what exactly is a "good" review? Better and good are two different things and I'm sure it will get better reviews than what it got last year. I got it last year and I would get it this year if my curiosity is piqued and it is a LOT better than last year. I can afford it. If I were to get one, I'd have to be a moron to even consider Live unless it was clearly better than NBA 2K. And since history has shown that to rarely be the case...Last edited by Boilerbuzz; 09-06-2014, 11:39 AM.Comment

If it's decent, i'll probably pick it up when the price has dropped sometime near the end of the season.Comment

This doesn't belong here, nor in the Live forum really. Other is the best place for "both" talk.
Get whichever one you want and will have fun with. If you have the cash, get both. I always do/will unfortunately. It's in my dna to play them all. I bought Sonys offerings on the ps3 regretfully.
Get what you want, no need to be swayed by what others will do.Twitter - WTF_OS

I am leaning toward NBA2K15 every year and every freaking year they disappoint me. The ONLY reason I give NBA2k14 any chance is because of the "next gen" level of jump. The graphics is just amazing but the gameplay is broken. That's why i hope LIVE gets better. NBALIVE14 sucks so bad last year that I will have to play the demo of LIVE15 and see if they actually make progress. Can't trust nobody; i had enough of that in the past.Last edited by reptilexcq; 09-06-2014, 01:25 PM.Comment

I've gotten both every time there were two available...use to get all four Inside Drive, Live, The Inside / Shootout, and 2k.
because as a gamer, I can respect all their differences and play seasons, franchise, association, dynasty on all of them.Last edited by Behindshadows; 09-07-2014, 12:06 AM.Comment

LOL!!!
I suffer from this same DNA problem. I'm just programmed to buy basketball videogames. How I didn't give in and buy live 14 is beyond me.Comment
