For my legacy its Michigan St that is the powerhouse. EVERY year 4/5 pre season 1st teamers are Spartans.

I also find it weird that I have ALOT of players from Chicago & California. This game doesnt have pipelines right?
Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I just won the championship with my Michigan Wolverines in my 4th season with the team, we are currently 17-1 with a heart breaking loss to unranked Indiana at their place, and we were the #1 team in the nation at the time. It was a buzzer beater by their Sr 6'7" PF from the three point line with 2 seconds left.

Indiana was picked very high in the preseason poll but their all-american center was injured early in conference play with a torn acl, and is out for the rest of the year.

        I love this game!!!

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I'm on my fourth season with Stony Brook, and I'm having trouble recruiting 4* and 5* players. I've made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament two years straight, went to the NIT Final Four three years ago, and have won the America East (regular season and conference tournament) two years running.

Also, I only play maybe three-four games during the season, because the AI is so rubber band it's ridiculous. I was tied at halftime with one-seeded Vanderbilt last year (I was the eight, after beating Butler), and out of nowhere they hit five straight threes, and I can't make a one-foot layup if my life depended on it. I dont want to mess with the sliders too much (48 CPU/52 human), because then they can't buy a basket and I can't miss.

It's a fun and infuriating game, and I'm glad I could find it.

Man I still feel kinda off about not staying at Ohio... We made the Final Four and when I left they went like 27-7. Silly move but I'm about to put Miami in the rankings!

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Last season, with probably my best team (a Miami (Fl) transfer who won AE Conference POTY twice and a my first 3* PF both starting), we made it in as a six in the west, beat Notre Dame handidly (103-77), upset 2-seed Washington and 1-seed Georgetown to make it to the Elite Eight, where we got bounced by eventual champion Marquette. Still getting only 3* recruits, but the potentials are getting better.

I've been getting offers from some pretty good schools (DePaul was the best school to offer), but I'm staying at Stony Brook until we start landing some 4*/5* recruits or we win the National Championship, whichever comes first.

I use Juke's sliders, because I like watching the games play out and the simulation stats aren't crazy.

I haven't quit my legacy mod, just put it in hold for now. I've just busy and a bit tired of it, and playing NBA. I'll try and get it going again soon.
James Naismith visited an Indiana basketball state finals game along with 15,000 screaming fans and later wrote, that while it was invented in Massachusetts, "basketball really had its origin in Indiana, which remains the center of the sport."

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

A year after losing to Mercer in the NIT opening round (118-114 in OT), we came into the year with all the starters and important back-ups all returning and tore through the schedule. Our only loss was the opening game at Seton Hall, but we've won every other game during the year, including road trips to Memphis, #15 Tennessee, Pepperdine, and VCU. The back-to-back road wins over Memphis and Tennessee earned us our first ever appearance in the Top 25, and we finished the season ranked twelfth.

A 31-1 season gets us the fourth seed in the Midwest, and an opening round game with The Citadel. The farthest we've gotten in the Tournament was the Elite Eight, and I don't see why we can't go farther with this team (incredibly high team unity, great inside presence, three-point shooters).

Two straight 30+ win seasons/Final Four appearances, and I've left Stony Brook for 14-14 Maryland. I couldnt take not being able to get any recruits better than 3* (hell, Alabama and HOFSTRA were able to get at least one 5*). Hopefully the new coach can improve on what I've built, or at least maintain its success.

The Terps' roster looks pretty good, except for the glaring absence of any Centers. That's going to be a huge need with recruiting.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

First year at George Washington was huge. Our 5* freshman was an absolute beast from 3-point land. We had a lot of great shooters in our starting five so he was 6th man, but when he got in the game, we would easily get two or three good trays from him.

We went 25-3 in the regular season...won something like 20 games in a row. Breezed through the conference tournament and got a 3 seed.

Our first game against Western Illinois was actually tough. Our shooting was ice cold, but we managed to eek out a 48 to 45 win. Next round we beat Texas A&M 72 to 58 after another cold snap to start the game.

We got bounced in the Sweet 16 by South Carolina, but that's ok because I felt that we were frauds as a 3-seed anyway.

This year's going to be even better I think. No seniors on the team last year, so we return everyone and got to bring in a 4* PF who will be a role player early. This year we lose like six seniors, but I'm hoping to see a trip to the Elite Eight.

Second year in closed legacy at central arkansas, coming off a 15-16 season, i just pulled off arguably the best recruiting class ever, circumstantially. 3 (4 star) recruits and 4 (3 star) recruits including a 78 ranked C and a 78 ranked SG. Number 8 ranked class nationally.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Year one at Maryland ended pretty good, with a twenty win season and the school's first appearance in the tournament since 2011 (it's currently the 2016-17 season). We beat Oakland in the first round before being beat by Indiana in the second round. Recruiting wise was much better, we secured an All-American four-star PF and a couple of 3* & 1* Centers.

This year, we finished second in the ACC during the regular season behind Clemson, while we won the conference tournament and secured a two-seed. We rolled through Mississippi Valley State and Saint Louis before edging out Michigan State to advance to a match-up with top-seeded Arizona for a trip to the Final Four.

Stony Brook, meanwhile, finished last year undefeated and with a two-seed in the Midwest. They were upset in the second round by ten-seed Butler. We played them at their place this season and destroyed them. They weren't anywhere near as good as they were under me, losing all but one non-conference game. They swept the conference, and won the AE tournament, then they ran into defending champion Alabama and got OBLITERATED 119-53. That made me smile a little bit.
