Yeah William & Mary was my choice, and it actually revitalized my career, i moved up to Bowling Green, then Georgetown, it was after 2 years at each too, I haven't had a losing season since, and have averaged 20 wins a season, talk about a turnaround, i found out its best to get straight seniors, no JC or World recruits

Hmmm, I can't decide between Princeton and UC-Riverside. I wanted a closed legacy team that also got a new coach in real life. These are two I am deciding between (the other two are all black schools...not sure if I'd be accepted etc...seriously, I do not know the rules as I am a white dude)

I went with UC-Riverside and I'm glad I did! Over 200 recruits in the state of California.

Now what?!?! This ABL stuff is sooooo confusing!?!?!?

Also, will I need to set my coaching philosophies ASAP for recruits to see or does that not matter?

If the season keeps going like this, I don't know if I'm going to survive.

Moving to Manhattan after starting at Northern Colorado, I open the season having to rally from down 8 in the last 3 minutes to been Vermont, 85-81, in OT. That would have been a crushing season opening loss at home.

Next I go to Navy, and once again have to stage a furious late game come back, finally dispatching the Midshipmen in double OT 71-67.

Both these teams were rated about 8 points lower than me, but kept getting clutch 3's by mediocre shooters.

If Sacred Heart takes me to the wire...well, I know I can relax in the game after that, because West Virginia will run me out of the gym.

First round of the tournament with UNC against Boston University. Their Center was 6' 6". The computer pulled my starters 5 minutes into the game. Score was 32-4 at that time.

I dont really see a reason to leave Texas State. Im in the second year there, Im in the NCAA tourney and Im in the Final Four. For ****s and giggles, I simmed it and looked at the offers I had from schools and there were no good schools. Southern Illinois was like the best offer and the best players there are rated 70's.

Im getting five star JUCO players to Texas State and my entire starting lineup is rated over 70s.

If I stay, will that be the best offer I can get or will being there increase my ability to get a better offer?

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Here's how I roll.... I play any preseason tournaments and choice Nov/Dec games, usually about 4-5 games before conference play. Then I sim my entire conference schedule (unless I am in contention, then I play the final game or two). Then I play the entire post-season starting with my conference tournament. So far... Started out at St. Francis, PA. Went to the Dance and scored a huge first round upset before losing by 30 to Arizona St. in the second round. Stayed there for 4 seasons total, going to the NCAA tournament once again in year 4. Again, advanced to the 2nd round on an upset, got smoked in the 2nd round. After 4 seasons in the NEC with St. Francis I accepted a position at Florida International in the Sun Belt Conference. I'm now in my third year there and haven't been to the dance yet, nor the NIT for that matter (I was snubbed last year at 21-9 and a 97 RPI. This year, however, might be different. After I finish this post I'm facing Western Kentucky in the conference tournament final for the 2nd straight year. I've got a pretty special team this season. I feel like a possible trip to the sweet 16 if things go my way. I have a 7'0 freshman 4-star recruit who starts in my front court along with my 6'8'' senior all-conference 1st team PF. I've got a 2nd team all-Sun Belt junior SF and a senior SG rated at 82 overall. I'm starting a SO point guard who tends to turn it over more than I'd like. A real nice bench as well... Big game tonight... tip in 5 minutes!

I did a couple more practice sims and San Deigo St is looking real nice. They get an 88 transfer from Arizona every year so if I play my cards right, I think Im gonna go there for the next step.

I'm at Sacramento St. I'm developing their Soph. PF and their Frosh PG while trying to get some good recruits in with their 6 scholarships. I lost about 3 guys so far because of other schools getting ahead of me in the recruit's rankings.

I am 8-1 with Duke having last my last game on the road to VT. They were simply too much for me inside. The won the battle on the boards and they were able to block a number of my shots without getting called for fouls when I took it strong. I hit too long of a period when all my shooters went cold to survive and hold my second half lead. Now I need to regroup fast because I am entering the meat of the ACC schedule which includes a crap load of really good teams.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Im three games in with San Diego St, they have an OK school. I was able to get two five star JUCO players during the off-season to come in, they recruited a four star and two three stars. I think I cut the three star players, they weren't good at all. Somehow, I did get three three star walk ons that are rated 68, 70 and 71. I was shocked, I never got over a 2 star walk on. They should help my bench without eating up a scholarship, which is awesome.

The 88 transfer from Arizona has Top Pick under his pro buzz, I can't believe he transfered to my school with that hype. I can't wait to see what he plays like.

Right now, I only have two available scholarships and I am #1 for an All American HS senior 5 star PG and I am choosing between a couple of five star JUCO players.

Does anybody know what the difference in ratings are between a five star HS senior vs a JUCO player? I havent been able to recruit a 5 star HS senior year, hopefully this PG is my first one.

What's cool about switching to SDS was that Texas State was still able to land all five five star JUCO players I had going there, Stan Heath took the position over. They should be a pretty good program now for a while. Im always gonna check up on my past schools, I like leaving them in better shape than what they were before I got there.

First Sacramento St. recruiting class was good. 2 JUCO(Fr. and Soph) centers who are 2 of my top 3 players now.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Finished the season 23-2, with the randomly generated schedule which had no tough out of conference games. Won the regular season and tournament, entered the big dance as a 7 seed. Played Saint Louis (bubble team 8-8 in the conference). Shot the lights out the first half, had a 20 point lead at the half, they came storming back in the second half and got within 3. My backup shooting guard hit a three of a set play, with 1:23 remaining, and we shot freethrows the rest of the way and held on.

We play west virginia (2 seed) in the next game. Hopefully they don't press full court, if they don't i have a chance to pull it off. I have 4 players on my team with above 80 in 3pt rating and we usually are pretty consistent from long range.

*oh yeah this is year 2 of my legacy, with Winston-Salem State, and the tournament round is held in Greensboro, if this was real life i would have a homecourt advantage due to the distance. We'll see what happens

Third year with ASU, first two years I got snubbed out of the NCAA tourney and so Im guessing my players took that personal and won the NIT tourney two years in a row. Then the next year made the NCAA tourney and won the whole things, of course I did have a star player in James Harden who left after the NCAA win. Now I am in the rebuilding year got a good Junior center who's 7' and he will be the #1 scoring option. Hoping to do well this year.

I'm in my fourth year as Southern and I got to the elite eight last year, which for whatever reason I had to do to save my job even though my record improved each year. I've been able to sign some 5 star junior college recruits which I'm never doing again since they are never as good as they're supposed to be when they actually get on the team. I think i've only actually played one game so far, I've been mostly simming and recruiting until I get a better team.
