Just accepted the UCONN Job. I actually was going to decline the job because I wanted to the SEC but I couldn't pass it up - now the real fun begins.
Please tell me you're simming your games. What's the fun in that? I like to play'em.

If I'm working from home - I'll play maybe 4/5 10 min games. I do most of my damage on the weekends.

As i mentioned earlier in this thread im the Badgers....i just got done with non-conference play and finished 8-3 with losses to Georgia, Duke, and Texas. I'm ranked 10th and have michigan next....i added one more recruit in a 3* SG...the only three star i pursued hard because he has solid size and nice ABL numbers...im kind of wishing i wouldve played the ABL...Recruiting is amazing in this game..My targets top 3 choices are always moving week after week....its fun to see that.

I have one with Duke where I'm 7-0 and ranked 3rd, but as far as my Career is going I just started with Morehead State. I'm 1-0 with a buzzer beating win @ Houston. Down by 13 with 5 mins to go (playing on All Conference with 14 min halves and out of the box sliders) went to my patented favorite piece of junk defense my 2-2-1 zone press. Hit a trey at the buzzer with Lamb and a huge celebration went on back in Morehead, KY as Morehead State pulled off a big upset!

1-1 with Kennesaw St. both games were ten point differences, but both were closer than that. Against Eastern Kentucky, it was a 5-1 point game for about 13 minutes of the 2nd half, until their shooter completely took over, scored 8 in the last 2 minutes, and they won 79-69.

Against Auburn, I took 8 point leads on 4 difference occations, but the Aubbies battled back each time to tie or take the lead. The last occured when I went from being up 69-61 to 69-71 in the last 3 minutes of the game. then my 3 point shooting finally showed up, i hit 2 straight, they started fouling, and i got a cheap bucket at the end to win 84-74.

No u have to play your games, It seems that the CPU will never let u get deep as an underdog so its almost impossible to sim your way to the top. Today I spent two hours working my coach 7 years ahead, the nest Job I got was Indiana ST. U gotta have Coach pts and tourney expirience to get the power conf jobs.

I cant belive he plays 10 mins halfs, I would love to but its just too crazy winning 52-44. So I just play 14 min halfs and SIM once in awhile. I am now 8-3 with UAC I think. Needlesss to say I didsn't save my progress when I was simming season after season.

I've finally settled ona closed legacy team..Im going to run with St. Francis (NY). I have 5 scholarships to offer...gonna start a little marathon of games this morning. Are you guys playing the ABL games? Im thinking of just playing just the ones that have guys who are interested in me..and play 2 minute halves or something to that effect, so I can get the bonus recruiting points.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I'm running with Northern Colorado. I'm 10-4 currently, though I traded out some tougher non-conference games. For example, one of my wins was against NJIT. My reasoning is that I wanted to learn the game against teams that wouldn't run me off the floor. I have managed to start 4-0 in Big Sky play. I blew Sacramento St out, but my wins against Northern Arizona, Idaho St., and Weber St. were all by 7 or less. Some great games. Just like the real squad, my team is centered around Archibeque and Taibi. I find a lot of success using the inside-out game. If they double Archibeque low, I kick it back out to Taibi for a three. I'm quite concerned about year 2 with this team, though. Both Taibi and Archibeque graduate, and there's really nobody else on this team that can create his own shot. I'm trying to get Beitzel (a redshirt freshmen) to develop a three point shot. I have him working on nothing but shooting.

My recruiting is going as well as can be expected. I'm pretty much guaranteed the three 2* guys I'm going for, as I'm the only school that's showing interest. That sorta scares me. I have a 6-3 SG out of Denver, a 6-9 C out of Layton, Utah, and a 7-2 center out of Salt Lake City. I used the 7-2 guy seven times in the ABL, and fell in love with him. The guy's got a great touch around the basket.

Also, this is the first sports game that actually has me yelling at the screen as if I was watching a real game on TV. Great times.

I'm using Northern Colorado as well. They're damn good. I didn't realize Archibeque and Taibi are seniors though =( I'm recruiting some SG and C's though, so hopefully I'll be good. Taibi is a great shooter, and I use him and Beitzel a lot. The bench isn't too bad.

I am using St. Francis as well. They are a tough choice as their 3 point shooting outside of Womack(5'8" PG) and Rubino(6'3" SG) is weak, and they are lacking in size outside of the Yessoufou(6'9" F/C)....Hines(6'5" PF) has decent midrange though.

I am currently 2-2 (MOP setting)with wins against Hartford and Maine, and losses against St. Johns and Hofstra. Each game has been tight into the final two minutes.

I plan on recruiting a "Fab 5"(PG***, SG****[foreigner], SF**, PF**, C**) with the five scholarships I have with a focus on size and skill as this team lacks both, and plan on staying until either the Temple or Syracuse jobs open up for me as those are my goals.
