On a close FF game over Baylor, 75-68, and promptly changed defense to pure man with full court trap after made baskets.

NC game was anti-climactic....destroyed #1-seed Texas Tech 77-52. They got the first basket of the game, but we just took over after that. I'm really hoping I can turn this into a John Wooden type of a thing, hehehe.

More to come when I get into next season....

I'm 2-6 through 8 with Saint Mary's but the team is starting to come together. It's not so much of a 1-man show anymore and I'm scoring well, but the defense has fallen apart. I'm losing hard-fought games against better teams, with the exception of a humiliating home loss to 2-4 Portland State who was rated 9 points worse than me.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Every time it's March I get the urge to play this game again..

Well, George Mason is now 21-7, losing twice against Old Dominion and finishing 13-3 in the conference, giving us the #1 seed in the tournament. Right now, we are projected as a 10 seed. We are a bubble team though, and in my opinion, must win the CAA Tournament to get the spot. Northeastern, who are also on the bubble, are the other big CAA team to be on the bubble.

After getting a bye, 2nd round is against UNC Willmington, who are 13-18 and a team we clobbered before. Lead by World Recruit Harry N'Doye out of France, this team is underrated but pulls out wins. Hopefully, we win out, or we're out.

In the year 2022 with San Diego State, and Pepperdine of all teams gave us a huge Finsl Four scare....but we won 72-69, and we will play the 10-seed Kansas Jayhawks for my 2nd NC with the school.

EDIT: Just concluded my 3rd year at SDSU. Year 1, National champs. Year 2, booted in the Elite 8. Year 3, champs again!!! It's pretty official now...a dynasty has been built.

EDIT 2: Just won back-to-back NCs at SDSU. That makes 3 out of my 4 years there as national championship runs! AND WE AREN'T STOPPING THERE!!!

I started mine just today with Sacramento State. I usually use Microsoft Publisher to create "newspaper like" tracking of my career. I don't know if people would be interested in reading it.

I just joined the forum yesterday so I have to wait for 10 days before opening a new thread. Also I don't know if we have the option of uploading files. If not I will provide a link from where people will be able to download the PDF file.

It will look something like this. I started with fictional roster, since to me it's all the same because in two years time most of the players will be gone from the game anyways. I also decided to start with default dates from the game so the start will take place in 2007.[/IMG]

I started a new legacy using the custom conferences recently posted by Brave22 and the 2014-15 roster by Deepball757. I decided to take the job at Florida A&M and I am 4-9 after a tough non-conference schedule (games against Ole Miss, Duke, Creighton, Clemson, St. John's). My team competed pretty well and actually won at Creighton, so I'm looking forward to conference play.

Still in love with this game. I play it here and there throughout the year, but this game doesn't leave my xbox in March. So much fun...just imagine a next gen choops game *sigh*

Got back into my FAMU legacy and started year 2. I went 12-18 in year 1, lost in the first round of the conference tourney to MD-Eastern Shore.
Lots of seniors in this second year, including my entire starting 5. We could do some damage in conference play for sure.

2-3 so far and the team has been competitive against bigger opponents. Played an epic game last night against Green Bay. It was a back and forth, exciting game and very physical as well.

My Ratters are up 61-59 with 11 seconds left. Green Bay ball. Their star guard drives the baseline and goes for a reverse layup. It sits on the rim for a moment and falls off the rim into the hands of my center, who throws the ball the length of the court as time expires! What a game it was.

Having fun at San Diego State. The season is 2023-24, and we are looking to three-peat as national champions...and I'm looking to go for my 4th national championship in my 5 years at San Diego State! I think the only power conference job I want is....my Purdue Boilermakers!!

Good god almighty, my starting SG Reggie Lewis just lit up SC Upstate. In the 64-55 win over the Spartans, he netted 37 points, 6/10 from 3 point range and 7/7 on FTs. I average around 15-20 points with him, but this...this is something else for him.

My Center also posted a double-double, 11 points and a career high 17 rebounds.

Wild, wild game against Mizzou in the NC game. We were down 30-14 at halftime, but came back to win 59-55 for our 4th NC, and the three-peat!

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

So after 6 or so seasons playing an open legacy as Illinois and coaching every game, I got a bit tired of CH2K8 and quit around this time last year. But sure enough, as soon as tourney time rolled around this season I jumped right back in.

This time I wanted to try something different, so I started a closed legacy with St. Francis (NY). Despite dedicating countless hours to my Illinois legacy (I got in deep, we're talking watching entire ABL games for scouting) I had never tried closed legacy actually playing games (instead of coaching). Unfortunately my real life schedule doesn't allow me to play every game, so I've decided to play a few games to start the season, feel out my team, then sim until the conf tourney. At that point I play until the season ends. Using this strategy in my first season, I went 15-18, but made a surprise run to a conf tourney title and made it to the big dance (first time in SFNY history!)...... then I got beat 55-22 by 1 seed Kansas in the tourney (using rspencer's sliders, 10 min halves).

The most difficult thing I've found is recruiting. Recruiting with a small school is an entirely different process than at a bigger school. I've found myself being totally ignored by 3* and struggling even to get 2* to take an interest. After the tourney I saved my game and came on OS to look for recruiting tips before running through the summer recruiting period. Found some good stuff, and will be focusing on MUN and LOC players. Fingers crossed I can land a decent class! Even though my team was pretty bad last season, I had 4 senior contributors! If I can't land a couple decent guys (maybe a JUCO or 2) next season is going to be a struggle.

Did you guys started with the default conference or did you use the new conference realignment? Do you have to manually adjust the conferences? Or download a conference like that of rosters (raiders or deep)?
