Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Started at VMI in closed legacy with Coach Don Wright. Took VMI to NCAA tourny in year 2, took job at Nevada, and really built that program. 2 National Titles and 8 NCAA appearances. Was holding out for the Indiana job, never came open and was offered the UCLA job and I thought it would be fun to try to get them back to the top. They had been out of NCAA Tourny for 4 seasons and Ben Howland retired. My Coach's record is 309-118, something like that. I will stay with UCLA unless the Indiana job comes open.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

i just started a career legacy with E. Illinois. I decided to take time and play 12 minute halves on abl to get a good feel for recruiting and get back into the flow of 2k after playing ncaa basketball. had to go back and repurchase 2k after trading it for that piece of garbage. I am going to use OS 08 rosters. what are most of u using? I plan on playing all abl games to get recruiting points. I do play all my games at 20min. halves on mop and I will post back when I get into the season a little way. I am excited and cant believe i ever thought ea could make a basketball game. by the way i also re bought nba 2k8 to get my players in the nba. i wish u could export to 2k9. i hope 2k decides to get back in college ball maybe after ea BS this year they will give up on basketball since they have not made one good one for well forever.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I had 4 or 5 career legacies when last season was going, and in the summer had one with Lafayette (fun stuff) and now i decided to do an open one (still last years rosters) with Tulsa. Some nice talent, but getting some more depth in the paint would be nice. Jerome Jordan is a monster, but all the other bigs arent good. 2 players that will probably get drafted in real life this year or next (Jordan, SG Ben Uzoh) so using them has been frusterating and fun. Got that legacy posted on 2K sports forums like all my others

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I just bought the game last week, and it took me some time to get used to the controls after having played mostly with the EA series. I started off 0-9 with a closed legacy using Stetson. I've rebounded to win 3 of my next 4 games so things may be turning around. I did check my coach status after my 9th loss and it looks like I could be pretty close to being fired. Do they at least give you a couple years to turn things around or has anyone been fired pretty quickly at a low level school?

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I bolted UNF after two seasons where I made it to the conference semis, and went over to UC Davis. My first two seasons at Davis resulted in two NCAA tourney bids, after winning the Big West torunament both times. I almost upset Indiana the first time, leading until 3 mins or so when my team collapsed and lost by 2. The next year I got destroyed by the Zags in the first game. My Charisma's now at an "A" though, so recruiting should get easier.

Goal: Win a NCAA tournament game, get a job at Wisc/Marq.

My Teams: Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Marquette Golden Eagles, Milwaukee Brewers, Virginia Tech Hokies, Texas Longhorns, Houston Texans, Houston Rockets

I just finished my first season with Stetson and went 8-22 and missed out on the conference tourney. I lost 4 players to graduation, but I was able to get 1 three star recruit and 1 two star. So far in the second season I am 1-1 with a win over Florida Atlantic.

Started up my old dynasty. I'm at St. Bonaventure after 2 years at EIU. Just made the national tourney after a first round exit on the conference tournament Playing Notre Dame in the first round. They are the 8 seed but should handle me easily. This team isn't that good. Especially down low.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I'm now in year 2030 of my career legacy. I started off at UTM and made the tournament a couple times but didn't get past the first round.

Moved to Jacksonville and stayed there for about 8 years and never got past the second round. I had short stints at CoC and George Mason, which was a disaster.

Then I moved onto Loyola-IL where I had the most fun I've had playing this game. Made it to the Sweet Sixteen and I thought my team was stacked with three guys who each had the star for their ability icon. But it turned out that team was nothing compared to the team I had waiting for me at Georgia Tech. They had three starters with the star icon as well as one dude off the bench.

Still haven't won the whole thing and I'm not too fond of GT but damn, the PF I recruited is an animal. He's the best big man I've ever coached and he's only a freshman with A potential. I'm so tempted to leave but I'm really interested to see what this guy turns into.

I went from 2 years of Kennesaw St. where I had 1 20 win season where I went to the dance, but I followed it up with a 9 win season lol. I left there for Boston University where for 7 years I didn't win less then 19 games and made the dance every year. Right now I am at Pepperdine my first year we went to the dance, the next year we won 13 games, and this year we are about to play in the conference finals against the Zags who have had my number since I started with the Waves.

Had been going after the #3 ovr, #1 PG, L.L. Hehn who is now a 6-7 Sr. Was 2nd on his list and he signed to Texas. Had been after him since I spotted him going into his junior year. Thought I had a good shot since I only had one scholarship to use. Played the HS all-star game and he was rated 80 and his draft buzz said #1 pick. Could have been the final piece to the puzzle for us.

I moved onto Boston U after three season with UNF. First year at Boston U we made the tourney and finished with a 27-6 record I believe and a second round exit in the NCAA tourney. Lost a couple key starters though and am starting year 2 at Boston U at 0-2 and struggling to make any 3 point shots with my current players. Have a crazy good PG that is now a Soph. Has great passing ability but his drives to the basket could use some work. Hopefully I can do well enough to move onto a bigger school after this season. Would like to go to the University of Buffalo next, if it's offered.
