Let me paint the picture: Won 2 National titles back to back. Looking at the third. 1 UConn vs. 5 Indiana. My leading scorer is injured. 2nd Leading scorer in foul trouble. Down by 4 with 2 mins. left. Dramatic!!

We forced the tie and fouled on a shot attempt in the minute. They made the first and missed the second. I tried to force it down court with a long pas but ended up turning the ball over. Ended up losing by 4 measly points. The sweetest game but the depressing loss to end the season.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Just lost my first game of the season in my Syracuse legacy. I was 9-0 ranked #2 in the country facing Miami at home. What a heart breaker. Score was tied at 61 with 15 seconds left. They drove inside, layed it up, missed, their C grabbed an offensive rebound, layed it up, missed.. another offensive rebound and this time he dunked it home with .6 seconds left on the clock. Game over. I was down the entire game too. Never had the lead. I consistently fought back to tie it over and over again, but could never gain the lead. My guys were missing wide open shots. But credit to Miami. They played a very balanced game and I tried switching my defense up several times, nothing worked. Their SG went off on me for 25 points, 6 of 8 from 3.

So I'm 9-1 now. Surprisingly, I didn't get mad at all this game(usually I'm screaming at the TV during games like this, lol). I simply accepted my loss because honestly, they outplayed me from start to finish. The biggest difference in the game was free throws. They got to the line 8 more times than me and knocked 'em all down.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I'll just quote what I posted in another thread rather than type it all again:
After the tourney started last weekend, I fired my old saved game back up. I'm running a CPU vs. CPU dynasty and am currently at Arkansas State after starting out at Campbell (love those camels!). My current team is 20-3 with wins over Kansas, Iowa St., and Miss St., with a narrow loss to Duke. The only bad loss so far is against conference foe Florida International (and another conference loss against North Texas, but they're actually a decent team).

My RPI rating is 24 and I'm in 1st place in the Sun Belt with 3 games to go before the conference tournament. Bracketology currently has us as a 6-seed, with a potential second-round matchup against N.C. State (rated as a 90 overall compared to our 86).

I've yet to make it out of the first weekend of the NCAA Tourney, so I'm hoping we can finish strong, win the conference tourney, get a decent seed in the NCAA, and make a run to the Sweet 16 at least.
Maybe I can get an offer from a power conference team if we have a good run in the tournament...
Once upon a time, I had a lovely signature. Then it died. The end.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I recently started a new career legacy. my first one I started with Texas Southern(4 years), moved on to Troy(3 years), SMU(7 years), and finally Texas(6 years). I won 1 NC with SMU, then 3 with Texas. none were back to back though. I went through 20 seasons. I did not play every game, mostly just played in the big games, conference tournament and the NCAA tournament. I was 527-158 with 4 total NCs.

my new Legacy I started with Texas State. I had forgotten how hard the game is with a bad team. my first season was rough, finished 12-15, losing in the first round of the Southland conference tournament, thus no NCAA or NIT bid. year 2 started off really bad, 1-8 after the regular season. conference play was better though, however still ended 11-14 going into the conference tournament.

I was the 3rd seed in the Southland tournament, beat UTSA in OT by 6. beat TXAM-CC in OT by 4, then beat the #1 seed SFA in OT by 6 to win the conference tournament. my prize for winning the Southland conference? the chance to play #1 seed Duke in the West Regional in the NCAA tournament. lol

so far I'm 26-29 in 2 seasons at Texas State about to play the Duke game.

Edit: my team gave it their all, even lead at halftime 39-37 against Duke, but Duke would pull away in the closing moments to win easily 83-68. my Senior SG Erick Baker had a monster game though, scoring 44 points. I think thats the first time I've had someone get over 40 points in a game.

What season are you in at ASU? I'm starting my 4th at North Texas, 7th season overall, and we've won the conference 3 years in a row, w/ pretty high seeds every year. Made Elite 8, Sweet 16, and 2nd Round, and still haven't managed any Power Conf offers. Best offer I got was Gonzaga last year, but I stayed put. Wake didn't offer me when they had an opening last offseason, I was surprised.

I simulated every game no Hoopcast. I recruited tons of overseas players and recruited heavily in Colorado. The team i won my National Championship had 3 or 4 Four star recruits and 2 Five star recruits.
I will work on getting my season records on here
Since im a college student I have some time on my hands so i started a new one with Dartmouth today I went 20-10 and won the Ivy League, My Second Year 22-8 and second Ivy title
I play a slow defensive average about 60 ppg run Princeton offense

Just finishing up season 5 at Texas State in coach mode. The team is an 86 overall now and finished the regular season with only 1 loss to Northwestern St. Conference tournament and who should show up in the second round? Northwestern State, and they beat me again. So I watched the selection show and got a 3 seed playing Alabama State. Beat them and have Texas A&M up next. Had to take a break now to watch the real tourney.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

If you do not feel like reading what I'm about to write, you can visit my Legacy here. http://www.digitalsportscene.com/for...8CHOOPS-2K8%29

As you can tell, my Legacy is Purdue. In year 1, I finished 22-11 and was eliminated in the second round by Duke. My team was able to dominate games on the outside, but I was absolutely killed inside. I had a very bad rated Chris Reid at center off the bench and a raw JaJuan Johnson starting at center and I was forced to play Robbie Hummel at PF. That was my problem all season, my size.

In year 2, I was able to pick up a 7 foot center, and boy we went on a run. My starting lineup of Chris Kramer, E'Twaun Moore, Robbie Hummel, JaJuan Johnson, and my freshman center KILLED it. We finished the season 35-4, and I believe we went on a 15 game winning streak. That streak was however snapped in the National Championship game, losing to Duke again. It was a really disappoting loss because I picked up a stupid foul with JaJuan Johnson with about 5 minutes left fouling at the top of the key that gave him 4 and my center was already in foul trouble, so they ended up going on a big run and winning the game. In that off season, I was able to snag the #13 PF in the class because he was not being recruited by anybody for some reason. His potential isn't very high, and he's a little short for the PF position at 6'6, but he has a great mid range jump shot and can hit a 3 on occasion. Not to mention his 86 block rating. He kind of reminds me of a poor man's Michael Beasley.

In year 3, we started off the year 9-0 and conference play is starting. I'm not going to lie, we didn't deserve half of these games. In the first 3 games, we should have lost those games. We beat Texas A&M CC by 7, 94-87. How do we allow 87 to Texas A&M CC? Next we beat Arizona by 6. Arizona is a good team but we could have played better. Then we beat Missouri State next game 63-53. Missouri State is one of the elite mid majors in the nation, as last year they snagged Oklahoma's Mr. Basketball. He was also a 5 star recruit and a High School All American. They also got Kansas' Mr. Basketball and he was the the 18th overall SG. We beat Wake Forest on Robbie Hummel nailing the game winning jumper. I coached the V Tech game, and we came back from being down by 18 at halftime to win by 25. V Tech somehow only made 5 field goals the whole second half, and we Beat #3 North Carolina by 2, with Larry Drew missing a game winning 3 at the buzzer.

If you guys read it hoped it helped a little bit

I just won the West Coast Conference Tournament in my second year at San Francisco (and 11th year in my legacy overall with the first nine years being at Princeton). Now I'm a #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament after going 29-5 (11-3 WCC) this year and will play #14 Southeastern Louisiana (18-10) in the first round.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Man, Where do I start... Alright When this game first came out, my very first legacy I started with SF-NY, I went 20-11, losing in semifinals of conference vs a 12-17 team. Got a NIT BID, making it to the final four, final falling victim to UCONN(They won btw) Next season I had a few decent recruits 3* C from Bronx Ny, he was 201# 9#Pos, Another world 3* PG and a 2* SF with 86 Dunk. Next season I got 24-9, Winning conf tourney, getting a 13 seed, defeating 4 seed Nevada 81-62, I WHOOPED IT!!! Best game ever for me because it was my first tourney win. Next game, 93ovr #5 Seed UNC put a hurting on me and my dreams were shattered. After the season, Valpo of the Horizon league came open, With pretty much no thought process I picked to move my 2-3 Pressure Defense to the Horizon league.

I take a look at the roster immediately and notice that there is a SO C 7'0 78ovr and a FR C 7'1 77ovr..I shook with joy. On the opposite side of the ball, It was a 69,71,66 so I had work cut out for me but I knew my team went threw my 2 big guys, thats for sure.

5 years down the line...5 NCAA Appearances, 2 Sweet 16s and a Elite 8 with this squad, teams all 70's with 3 80's. Great shooting squad. I go to check the job screen looking for a power 6 conf school. After my 33-3 2014-2015 season getting to the Elite 8.. My Dream Job opened up!

CUSEE!!! Jimmy Boehiem finally retires in the land of the Orange..and I was #1 on the list..I took it immediately saying bye to a team I thought maybe I could win one with them, to a team I never thought I would get to coach..a team I KNEW I could win with..The Syracuse Orange!!! The Roster is kinda thin, I got a 5* SG to come during off-season he was a 81ovr with good 3pt shooting and speed/bhandle. He's going to be the Catalyst of my squad.

So my team sits #23/#24, first time starting season ranked in my coaching career. I started back up a month ago in year 3 with Valpo, so I've played 2 years up into this point. I play usually 70% of the games, never save/reload so a sim loss is a sim loss. Now that I am In the BE, I think Im going to sim all non ranked NON-CONF opponents and play all conference opponents. My Starting lineup is...

                          PG-JR 77Ovr
                          SG-FR 81Ovr
                          SF-SR 85ovr
                          PF-JR 83Ovr
                          C-SR 74Ovr

I think now im going to keep it updated on here, I cant wait to get started later.
                          Paul Harris...thats all
                          #9 Syracuse Orange!! (15-1)(3-0)

about 6-7 years into my ARMY legacy I won the championship on a cinderella run, beating NC, GT, Minn (simmed that one) and George Mason in the final (a blowout).
I'm curious to see if recruiting 5 stars will be successful now. I never got a 5 star before.

Beat A&M by 10 tonight and now have a match-up against North Carolina (rated 92 overall.) I think this is where my run ends.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Started an IU legacy yesterday. Should be a very fun and challenging legacy. This is a young team, but with very little talent. I have two decent players which are my starting guards, Verdell Jones and Maurice Creek. Creek is a pure scorer and can fill it up. He's averaging 21 ppg for me. Jones is my PG. Good passer and very fast. I always drive inside with him. Other than those two, just a bunch of mediocre to very bad players. I don't have any player higher than a 76.

Ok well, for some reason I was ranked 18th in preseason. No idea why. I made my schedule as close to IU's real 09-10 schedule as possible. I've already played 7 games. Just lost my first game. It was to Maryland. I lost 73-64. I'm 6-1 now ranked 11th in the nation. But don't be fooled. This team really isn't that good. I have 6 wins from a bunch of horrible mid majors. The only team that was rated close to me that I beat was Ole Miss. So I'm off to a good start, but I have Pitt and UK the next two games. I fully expect to lose.

My goal for the season is to make the NCAA tournament, but in reality I probably won't. I expect to lose quite a few games in Big 10 play. We'll see. I do have a lot of pretty good shooters, particularly 3 point shooters. The problem is, I have NO inside game what so ever. If my perimeter game gets shut down, I'm toast. We'll see how it goes. Should be fun. Looking at my schedule, I realistically expect to win about 14-16 games.

The good news is, I just landed the #2 overall recruit in the country. A PG named Samuel Reese.

BTW I'm playing with updated rosters and my own personal sliders(sliders are on 2k share if anyone wants to try them.. they're called "Revis' AA Final Sliders").
