      Duke? C'mon man.

My legacy is on the Dynasties board, but I'm currently at UMES. Thus far, not including the current season:
Year 1 Maryland Eastern Shore: 17-14
A tough year, with only one scorer in Ed Tyson. Led the conference in scoring, fell in the first round of the conference tournament.
      Year 2 UMES: 26-7 (I think)
Ed Tyson leads the nation in scoring, and the team goes 15-3 in confernce. Get an #11 seed, lose in the first round to #6 Minnesota due to Tyson fouling out.
      Year 3: UMES 17-14
Tough year without Tyson, a lot of youth leads to a lot problems.

I recently stopped playing CHoops and started playing NBA 2k8. I simmed a few year with some loaded draft clases. After a few trades I got 5 out of 7 players from my school. Most of them played together. the only piece im missing is my star SF. he was 92 ovr when he graduated. The Clippers just wont let him go. The scouting report did say I had a young D-Wade tho.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I've been following this thread for quite a while and decided to put down MLB 2K10 for a little while to start a new dynasty. I'm using someone's rosters (which I downloaded quite a while ago from 2kShare) and Jukeman's CPU vs. CPU sliders.

I've decided to start my career with Nicholls State and went 13-16 in the first season while finishing 7th in the Southland. I tried to schedule as nicely as possible...so I didn't play a single ranked team throughout the season but got a notable win at LSU.

I signed two three-star recruits and one two-star 7'0'' C which is absolutely awful.

I'm currently 6-5 in my second season with victories over Stetson, St. Francis (PA), Centenary, New Orleans, Chattanooga and Prairie View while losing to #11 Texas, LSU, UL-Lafayette, #1 Louisville and Rhode Island.

I signed a three-star PF and have already decided that if I am offered a job at the end of the season...I'm leaving.

This game is unbelieveably addicting...I'm so glad class is out now that I've started playing again haha.

This is honestly the most addicting game I'd played since tecmo super bowl, and possibly even MORE addicting. I'll play a career legacy until they force me to retire (the "swan song" season), then just start another one. I break for the football titles but as soon as the luster wears off I'm right back to CH2k8 haha.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

year two at Long Island, simmed the first year, won about 14 games or so? i started my coach off with all 5 points into his defensive rating because typically i go straight for charisma but i wanted to be different, got 4 coaching points the first season which i accidentally put in scouting instead of charisma, oh well, working out fine for me

anyways first year i signed 3 3* guys, a small forward from cameroon, and 2 big centers. well the small forward and center's are the only one's at each position on my roster so its difficult at times to rotate, but the small forward is an excellent all around guy at 6'9 he can do a bit of everything. got a 7' center recently got a knee injury but has been playing through it and dominating the glass he's an absolute beast.... other center is 6'8 but is a beast at about 260 gets less playing time but still contributes nicely.

sittin at 4-5 right now close losses vs dayton and notre dame ... notre dame loss was heartbreaking. very good defensive team and my shooting guard Johnson has recently heated up with his 3 point stroke, had 23 against ND. currently recruiting a 6'2 guy whos the number 59 SG, and a SF outta jamaica interestingly named Patrick Ewing. he's 6'8 260 and my coach says he's a B+ at shooting, looking to convert him to PF. already signed the #115 point guard a 3* cat who should add a lot to my team.

Kobe is destroying the Sun's right now lol, might have to turn the xbox back on

ooooh i have a conference game, then i get a shot at Kentucky this week.

I don't know why but I love hearing others stories of their legacies.... I know I'm not the only one or this thread wouldn't exist, but its crazy how I can come on here and read the updates and stories and immediately want to go right back to my own legacy and play some games.

I'm currently in year 4 of a legacy with Montana State. I only had a 9 man roster to start and had 8 available scholarships, 7 of which I used my first season and 6 on 3 star world recruits. Now I'm in 24-5 (simmed entired season) and the 13th seed in the ncaa tourney against Alabama. I'm thinking I'll probly move on to a mid major after this season though...

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

JUST WON!!!! 64-63 wow they missed a halfcourt heave at the buzzer... my point guard corey wright junior came up huge in the second half, went 10-10 from the charity stripe, bledsoe could not guard him. he's a 5'10 quick guy with hops as well, had a 2 handed dunk over 2 6'8 guys in the Notre Dame game, so he kept getting to the rim and managed to get fouled

also had HUGE game from my center Roland Jordan with 15 points and 6 rebounds and 2 blocks while shutting down Daniel Orton to just 6 points and 6 rebounds

my defensive specialist michael culpo (all 6'1 of him) shut down darnell dodson to just 4 points on 1-5 shooting

i also got 13 points off the bench from my shooter kyle johnson

all in all thats a HUGE win for this program, pushing me to 6-5 now on the season with a very talented young nucleus.... defense wins championships baby!

having to work would require a job as a pre-requisite  lol i beat penn state in the tournament championship after that and i didn't get ANY recognition on college hoops tonight. i was pissed.

I took my 13 seed Montana St team against 4 seed Alabama and nearly got blown out of the arena in the first 5 minutes. Down 16-4, I slowly managed to claw my way back and trailed only 38-36 at the half. 2nd half it was back and forth most of the way until the final few minutes, when my 4 yr starter at PG got hot and hit back to back 3's to ice the game and send the Bobcats to the second round of the tourney. Final score 79-70.

It ended up being the biggest upset of the whole first round, and I didn't really expect to win. My team overall is 82 and Alabama was 93.

Next game I catch a break, playing against the 5 seed Miami (OH). They're only an 85 overall so I should have a good chance but they did go 30-4.

Miami (OH) put up a good fight in the 1st half, though Montana St still went into the break with a 29-28 lead. Junior Center Tyquan Blevins completely took over in the 2nd half and the rout was on. Blevins finished with 20 pts and 13 rebounds and the Redhawks really had no answer for him inside, eventually losing 71-51.

This means little Montana St, the 13 seed in the south regional, will be making their 1st ever sweet 16 appearance. However, I've decided to sim the rest of the tourney and explore moving up the coaching ranks. Hopefully my contract won't be extended, which always kills my chances of landing a bigger better job.

If no suitable offers come in, I'll still have a solid base of returning players and an excellent recruiting class coming in, including at least 3 players rated in the top 150 overall, possibly more depending on offseason recruits.
