Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

3rd year with Brown U. 1st two years combined 19+ wins(mostly simmed, only played 10 games). I am able to compete with teams, but I dont want to play all the games. But, when I sim we lose every game. I am having a real tough in recruiting. I am still getting use to it. But, I was able to get a 3 star PG who came in 2nd highest OVR. Very Fast with okay quickness. I will try to play every game this year. I want to move on to a better school so I can get better recruits.

    Current Lineup:
PG- P.Power FR. PNR type of PG. Possible stats- 10+pts and 10+ assists.
SG- J.Biber JR. okay Spot up 3 pt shooter. Poss. Stats 15+pts
SF- Walker JR. Best player. Beast in the low post. Poss Stats 20pts-5+rbs
PF-Mac JR/SR. Great rebounder, okay around bucket. 7+ pts and 8+ Rbs
C-Glover SO. Not sure. Huge liability. Might sub players into spot.

    Any tips on recruiting?

Just upset the #1 team in nation, Louisville, with my team Brown in the early season they started off on fire, then my defense picked up. My best player, Walker, had 28 points/. If that isnt on College Hoops tonight, than I dont know what should

We won our conference. I just upset #2 seed Duke in 2nd round of NCAA Tournament. I am not going to lie, I thought I had no chance at all. Their worst player is better than my best player. I was able to spread the ball around to my teammates and had 4 guys over 10 points. The crowd was chanting "Overrated", I was rolling.

I have created 8 plays mainly designed for SF and SG. If I dont get any offers, I will recruited a better shooting SG and I will have my best player Dockery as a SR. But, I will jump at the chance for a better job.

Our Cinderalla story continues into Final Four thanks to a close victory to #1 Conn, 73-69. I had a close lead most of the game, but they were lights out with shooting that kept them close in game. Our horrible night from Foul Line almost gave us a loss. We shot 22% from the FT, including a miss up 2 with 4.8 secs left. But,my best player was able to rebound and dunk the ball to give use the victory.
Final four is Depaul vs. Marquette and Ole Miss vs. Brown.

Ole Miss ended our Cinderella story in Final Four by blowing us out. I am overally happy with our performance this year. With not that much depth with shooters. We lose to the eventual Champions, so that isnt a bad thing
Confernce Coach of year. Dockery(SF) was Conference player of year with 16.9 points and 5 rbs. FR PG Prosper Power won Conference Freshman and Freshman All-Conference with 7.5 ppg and 4.8 APG and 2 SPG. Dockery and Biber(SG, 12.2 ppg) was 1st team All-Conference.
#1 ranked Offense in Conference and #18 in nation. #2 ranked defense in Conference and #90 in nation
My contract has been renewed by 5 years, but will take better job.

I ended up staying at Brown. I had ton of offers, but none of the teams had a good enough roster to make me want to leave. Tenn Tech was good enough(better than ours) but I rather stay were couple more years and get a beter offer. But, I dont want to haveto play all them games with good games coming out this month.

Simmed the entire season(4th) and ended up with a 26-8 record. We missed out on NCAA tournament, but made it to NIT championship. We lost though. But it is good that I made it to the championship game. I won Conference coach of year again. Walker made 1st team All-Conference again with 19 ppg and 5.6 Rbs. He leaves as a 3 time 1st team All-Conference and 2 time Conference Player of Year and career avg of 16.3 ppg and 5 rbs and a total of 1800+ points and 500+ rbs. Harris(SR PG) and Biber made 2nd team. I lose 3 good players in Biber, Harris, and Walker. My main 3 scorers. If I decide to stay, Power(PG) becomes my main guy.

I took UMass job. I had too. Chance to move up to Major Conference, better players and chance to get good recruits.
I plan on simming 1st season because we dont really have the guys to fit my scheme. I wasted time in offseason with recruiting because we didnt have scholarships. But, Recruits carried over to this year. I think we are 5-2(simming). I cut alot of players, so I can have alot of scholarships available. I was able to sign 4 players in the early recruiting period of season. I have 3 scholarships available, I might cut one more. I signed mostly shooters and all 3 star players. I am going for a 4 star SF(74 int level), if I can get him we will have good season next year. I have 8 created plays. I might create some more after I see how my recruits are.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

First year of my dynasty with St. Francis (NY). I forget our record, but it was good enough to get us a #6 seed in the NCAA Tournament without winning our conference tournament. I really hoped we would win the NEC Championship, but Saint Francis (PA) blew us out of the water. We're currently playing #11 seed Fairfield in the first round of the the NCAA Tourny. Our team is only a 70 overall, yet we were able to pick up a 20+ win season. Fairfield looks like they'll pull the upset in my opinion, but hopefully my team can hold on.

I really think it would be a good idea if I left this school during the off-season depending on the job offers I get. I didn't really bring in any recruits for the next year during the season, but maybe that will change during the off-season if I do decide to stick around. Right now, my team needs to take this one round at a time.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

My brand new legacy with Vermont has gone really well, especially from a recruiting angle. I simmed the entire first season of games and only recruited world seniors, and regional (or closer) juniors.

Then focused on recruiting again in year 2 but decided to play the conference tournament. Got beat pretty bad by Boston, losing by at least 20. I'm a little rusty, and I noticed late in the game that I had forgotten some of my usual tactics like setting loose or tight pressure, mixing up the defensive styles, and forgot to apply full court pressure regularly until it was too late. Of course, it didn't help that the Terriers shot 68% from the field for the game to my 43%.

My next batch of recruits are studs, including 2 beastly centers. One of them is a big time low post threat, while the other is an intimidating defensive presence (7'4" !). My team overall is already up to 82, and the team won 24 games on their own.

Now it's back to the conference tourney to play again. Took out New Hampshire with ease in the semis, 71-43, blowing open a close contest with a switch to a trapping 1-3-1 defense. I'm about to play the final against... you guessed it... Boston again. Rematch time, and I'm ready for the fight!

Fairfield put up a pretty good fight, but my team is able to win and advance to the second round against the #3 seed Ohio State Buckeyes. We've had plenty of success against teams that had higher overall ratings than us, but will we be able to handle ourselves in a game against a Big Ten opponent?

We went 21-10 when I simmed the entire season with UMass, they went 4-22 year before. We lost against UCONN in the 1st game of NCAA Tournament. I still dont have a 3 point shooter, so I am simming next season too. Currently going after shooters. But, I only got a 2 year contract and this is final year. I will only stay if I dont get a better offer. I didnt want to do that, but I am not getting the recruits I want too. 1st game of season is against former team Brown. I am going after 3 star recruits or better.

The St. Francis (NY) Terriers had a 37-32 near the end of the first half, but the Buckeyes play a very strong second half game and eliminate the Terriers by a final score of 72-54. Well, if I get offers from other schools, I may be leaving St. Francis. Otherwise, time to rebuild for next year.
