    rhs_rhizzo,

Just wondering what sliders you're using? I've been thinking of tinkering mine a little bit and it sounds like your Florida - Arkansas game played out pretty good. I've ran into some issues as of late with both teams playing nearly the same, no matter how good or bad they are and the shot attempts and % made coming out pretty equal for both. Maybe it's just me being out of practice since I took about a 2 month break from the game though. Thanks

That's funny you mention that. I did the same thing for the 7th & 8th grade team that I coached last year. The guy that helped me out put the plays from the game on the computer and we actually used a classroom computer & projector to watch how they were ran before we practiced them on the court. LOL

Actually I'm finding that my games are playing exactly the same. I'm having a problem getting Ws against some low-tier teams so I might have to adjust the sliders as well.

That's the same thing I'm noticing. I used VT and beat Clemson on the road 75-72. I used them again and played NJIT in Blacksburg and won 79-70. Considering that NJIT went winless last season, something seems a little odd there. Do you play all-conference or all-american? I'm playing all-conference but I've heard that all-american makes teams player closer to how they should. I might give it a try with some adjustments.

I actually play on MOP and have been doing a little tweaking lately and hopefully I can get it so the scrub teams get blown out (for the most part) and equal teams play tough games. Kinda tough to do now because I'm in conference play and the SEC is stacked, but I'll be sure to schedule a couple cupcakes next season.

Do you have clutch factor on? That seems to make a difference.

After starting 2-9, including a 102-60 blowout loss at Florida....I've won 3 straight games with Charleston Southern. I'm 5-9 and I'm on FIRE!!

I just won a 68-66 squeaker against Liberty. I swear I can pick this game up at anytime and have GREAT games.

I really dig the fact that you can actually run the plays against a whole bunch of defenses.

Clutch factor is off for me. I've played a few games today and think I got it pretty much where I like it. I lost a tight game to Georgia, got beat by #8 Tennessee by 15 and then beat Ole Miss by about 12. The games are playing out very well for me right now.

About my franchise... Nick Calathes in his sophomore year is becoming an absolute stud. In a three game stretch he scored 23, 31 and 20 points for me! My offense is usually very balanced with nobody scoring any more than 14 points in a game, but Calathes was so hot that I had to get him the rock as much as possible.

I now have Jai Lucas as my starting PG and bringing Walter Hodge off the bench. My freshman PF Lakeith Eaton (4*) started off the season on fire, averaging 14 points a night through OOC play, but has cooled off significantly. Alex Tyus (sophomore PF) isn't playing inspired basketball since he lost his starting gig to the freshman.

Freshman center Lebron Baker (3*) has been a very pleasant surprise. Local product from Jacksonville stands in at 7'0" and is crazy active on the glass and blocks shots at a decent rate. He's pushing Speights for playing time.

The dud of my recruiting class, so far, is Ime Badiane, a 4* SG that can't shoot much at all. Sometimes he can hit a couple shots in a row, but I can't rely on him to knock down open jumpers at all. He does have good speed, but with that he has horrendous handles so I can't make any moves with him.

In the early signing period I scored a 4* PF from Florida and have a 4* SG that has me #1 on his list, with only Miami at #2. He should be playing in Gainesville next season and very well may put Badiane at the end of the bench.

This game is incredible and it doesn't matter if the game is out of season and, eventually, out of date. Like it has been said probably a thousand times in this thread, this game will never get old. MVP 05 and NFL 2k5 make way, because this game has got a seat reserved in the "Classic" category.

played this game today for the first time in probably 2 months, and very first game, I was USC and played against Cal, at Cal. Crowd was going crazy and chanting "Beat SC, Beat SC!" They hit a 3 pter and tied it up with 1.5 secs left to go. I inbounded the ball, raced past half court, barely got off a 30-ft prayer, and HIT IT!!!! OMG!!!

This game is just too much.

I took my Wake Forest Demon Deacons into Tallahassee and got rolled. I play an uptempo game but my defense was no where to be found. The ended up scoring 115 on me.

We need to regroup and salvage this season

Re: This game owns my soul.

So today I won the SEC tournament in my 2nd season at Florida and finished the season ranked #7. I was given a #1 seed even though Tennessee was ranked #1 and got a #2 seed. I thought hey, I'll just take this gift and run with it.

First round I take on poor little North Texas. I start the game on an 11-0 run and think to myself this will be a good tune-up game for the next round. Then they get hot and fight back into the game. Their momentum meter was in red for most of the game there after and it was a heavy weight fight with both teams throwing blows back and forth. Both teams shot well over 50% and it came down to the end with my Gators up 3 with 30 seconds left. North Texas works the ball around, puts up a 3... NO GOOD! I was so relieved to see it bounce away from the rim... until their PF ripped down an offensive rebound, kicked it out to the PG in the corner and knocks it down to send us to OT.

In OT, it was more back and forth action. I was up 1 with 55 seconds, got a crucial dunk from Mareese Speights and guarded against the three. They ended up taking it to the rack with 12 seconds left and got a quick bucket putting them down 1. I knew I just needed to get it in and they would foul. I get it in to Jai Lucas, try to get by the first defender, he goes into the animation where he falls over and loses the ball, the defender picks it up, throws a quick pass to their PF standing under the rim for an emphatic dunk to win the game. The #1 Gators just lost to #16 North Texas. Could the season end any more disappointing?

UCLA ended up winning the title and has the #2 recruiting class in the nation and will be favorites to win it again. I had 2 scholarships available going into that 2nd season, had a 4* PF sign from Jacksonville, Florida and had been working on a 4* SG from Miami. It was between us and The U, with Florida being #1 on his list the entire season. After the first week of offseason recruiting, he signs with The U. On top of that, Alex Tyus, Adam Allen, Dan Werner and Jonathan Mitchell left the team due to being unhappy, along with Walter Hodge who graduated.

I ended up signing a 4* PG who is pretty short and doesn't have the best PG skills as well as a 4* SG who isn't exactly a sharpshooter. Looks like I'll have to hit the recruiting trail hard this next season as I should now have 4 scholarships available to load up for a national title run to get the bad taste out of my mouth of losing to a 16 seed...

                              In short...

                              I LOVE THIS GAME!

Great stuff ha ha ha. Although losing in the first round like that blows it sure does help to put you in your place. I'm dealing with that right now in my NCAA football franchise. 4 straight losses with Penn State....Anyway I'm diggin Choops just as much as you are.
