Re: This game owns my soul.
I just played a game with the 75/5 setting and loved it. Same sliders I've always used, but the game was even better. Thanks Ehh.
Problem was in my DePaul dynasty I was up 39-32 at half shooting 67% from the field. Second half? 7....7 points! It's all I could score. They blew my *** out by 18. We ended up shooting 38% for the game. Man that came out of nowhere.
Now I see Louisville has the top 4 recruits in the country signed. Yep every one 1-4. Gonna be even tougher now in the Big East.PSN: JISTIC_OS

For the end of season stuff, I usually do it myself but have them with me in a party so I can tell them what's going on. Same as selection Sunday.Seattle Pilots GM (2011 - ) Record: 152 - 195

Re: This game owns my soul.
Everytime I come back to this game, it amazes me how the legacy and it's presentation, AI logic, recruiting, etc. still blows every other game out of the water...even at 3 years old. The preseason show, weekly highlight shows, selection sunday show...still 100x better than anything else out there in a sports game.
Between this and NBA2k10's association...I'm gonna be playing a ton of Bball this winter on my 360.
Like Jistic...I think I'm gonna see just how far I can go in my Auburn legacy.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: This game owns my soul.
Yup, the thing is-
do to the lack of injuries in the game (even with the slider maxed) I put all players to 35 duribility...
Now I get a realistic amount of injuries...That ACL injury was a total shocker and It actually cost my team in the Conf tourny(he was our best player;Defensive guy) as he got injured the 3rd to last game of the regular season....
This was my first season using the 35 duribility edit, I lost a fair amount of players during certain periods of the season...Great addition to my coach mode career..Last edited by Jukeman; 11-20-2009, 08:59 PM.Comment

Re: This game owns my soul.
i feel like once again im back to playing this game. I bought the other game and just cant quite get into it. This game, game one, produced great results. it immersed me instantly whereas the other game even with its apparently great presentation felt fake and I was not drawn in at all.. in fact I was bored.. i dont know. maybe ill get over it soon and begin to enjoy bothComment

Re: This game owns my soul.
I started up a new legacy last night with Indiana with the 07-08 rosters, just planned on playing one year with Eric Gordon to see if I could lead the nation in scoring.
Season opener at home versus Chattanooga, DJ White picks up three fouls in the first two minutes and Gordon is cold, I'm missing FTs with everyone - and of course the Mocs are on fire. I'm trailing 30-6 halfway through the opening half. After using three timeouts and both my POE's I give Gordon a breather for a few minutes and then put him back in. He goes on a 15-0 run by himself, hits a 3PT at the buzzer to end the half in which he scores 22 points and hits 4-4 from three. I'm trailing 47-33 though, still a long ways to go but I've got momentum.
With DJ White back in the second half and my offense in a good rhythm finally I'm scoring at will but still struggling to stop them. I keep cutting the lead to four but they push it back up to eight time and time again. There's five minutes left and Gordon only has five second half points but then he takes over, hits three triples and scores 14 pts in the final five minutes to give me a seven point victory. Gordon finished with 41 points, 15-29 from the field, 8-11 from deep, 3-6 FT. Crazy game, down 30-6 to end up winning by seven.
So the game ends, I go to check the national leaders to see who else had a huge scoring night to start the season and of course the game freezes."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
