Alright. Yeah, I don't know.... I tried 75 but I don't know.... haha. I guess I'll go try that after my new team (IUPUI) finishes their game with Oklahoma. Nothing like starting your season with a tournament!

Edit: I'm assuming 75 is game speed and 25 is player speed, correct?

Never mind.... read your other post on the other forum heheh.... it's all set up now.

I can't believe this game is going to be 4 years old this month.

Unbelievable how good it still is.

This is one sports game I'll never stop playing.

i played a game lastnight where Terry Dehere from my created Seton Hall Alumni team dropped in 27 points on me...

he scored 6 of Seton Hall's last 8 points and they rallied to beat me 71-69 using Notre Dame. I had David Rivers end up with 16 points and Kelly Tripuka scored 15 off the bench including a huge 3-pt shot with about .43 seconds left to play giving me a 69-68 lead before Dehere's game winning shot

Re: This game owns my soul.

Yeah, I forget when I bought this off of Amazon.... but I'm glad I got it. I'm into my 3rd year of my closed legacy. I spent two years at St. Francis (NY). The first year, we did great and got to the NCAA Tournament. We were ejected in the 2nd round by the Ohio State Buckeyes (Sullinger is a pain haha). Recruiting wasn't too good, and I simmed the next season. We did awful, and at the end of the year I received an offer from IUPUI. Living only three hours from Indianapolis in real life, I jumped on the offer.

Now with IUPUI, we are currently 11-2, losing a tough game in Gainseville and being pushed around by conference opponent UMKC. We've signed a 3* Mr. Basketball from Indianapolis that looks to make a statement next year. Meanwhile, I've tried to set my strategy similar to mistershadez in trying to get "The System" working. Well, we are currently whooping Centenary 17-5 with 14:35 left in the first half. The most points my team has scored this year is 107 in a crushing victory over Nebraska. I'm liking the way things are looking for this year.

Still coming back to this game. They really need to make a college hoops title...kinda depressing while playing this, damn you Sam Keller..

It's about that time for my annual test with 2K8, I've written it off for the third straight year thinking I won't be able to get back into it. The last two years I was dead wrong lol. Without the NBA I'm having a tough time getting into 2K12 and I'm foaming at the mouth for the college basketball season to begin this year.

Let's see what 2K8 can muster up this time around...
I hear you on 2K12; I just can't get into the game like I thought I would. The inability to edit generic players on classic teams is a big letdown to me. I've actually gone back to 2K11 for the time being.

I'm going to dive npback into this game as well, if I can find a 360 copy. My last copy suffered a nasty scratch and won't play.

I can't get into 2k this year due to the lockout. I've only played one play now game and two night's worth of My Player. I've never played this game, but I'm turning to it this year to get my b-ball fix. Hoping to have my soul owned very soon.

Re: This game owns my soul.

I jumped back into this game in a big way this week. I picked up in the sixth season of my open legacy. First five seasons were at St. John's, this sixth season I went and took over SMU to try to rebuild them. I just burnt through the remainder of the season (26 games) in a week. This game is so damn addicting!

Now it's time to recruit and rebuild this program. Just scooped a promising prospect in a 4* center. He'll replace my senior center that was the anchor to our entire team. Big shoes to fill, but hoping the guard can help him out a bit by knocking down some shots this season. It will be a long road to rebuilding.

Is it wrong to be having more fun playing CH 2K8 instead of NBA2k12? I am just starting a Legacy and I'm playing the ABL games now.

This game was just like nfl 2k5. Just needed one more year of tweaks. The legacy mode is unmatched to this day.

So yes, this game is AWESOME...yet again!!

I'm the #3 Hartford Hawks just havin been bounced from the Tourney against #6 Texas in the 2nd Round, 64-63. My Freshman PF MISSED A WIDE OPEN Layup/Dunk/Shot right in front of the Hoop!!!!

Dude came in to get 32 pts in 14 mins of play...was just doing his thing all game. Then he gets the pass from my PG, his defender tried to foolishly steal the pass leaving him all alone as I go up and he MISSES from literally right under the Hoop!!

Oh well, I wanted my Sr.'s to go out with at least a Final Four appearance.

Last Season, I made the Elite Eight with some really nice upsets.

I've made the Tourney all 4 years, but I'm really upset to be bounced in the 2nd Round.

Using SportsNutz Rosters, I took Hartford, and did a few edits so that I'd have a PG and SG that were both true Freshmen at the same exact time, keeping them both "not good" so that I'd still be able to use Hartford.

This final year, I was able to become ranked (as high as 17), went 27-1 in the Regular Season, and finishing 28-2 after that Texas loss.

I still can't believe we 1) blew the 17 pt. lead we had built up, and 2) missed that easy shot in the waining moments of the game. It just goes to show how awesome this game really is. You have to stay on top of your ish at all times.

                        Just heartbreaking...

I've won the Regular Season and Conference Tourney all 4 years as well in the American East Conference. I'm undefeated in Conference play as well. I sim and only play the NCAA Tourney...I'll still stay at Hartford unless Boise State comes calling, or a team that interests me greatly not in a Power or Major Conference.

                          Update about that Freshman...

He just made the Freshman All-American Team for me, haha.

He had a great year coming off the bench.

Great, so now Boise State does in fact come calling, and in fact wanting me as their HC!!

Only problem is...I also want to stay at Hartford. At Hartford, I'll have my AA So. PF who will be paired with my Sr. C, and Jr. SF. Only my backcourt will have new Starters.

Boise looks to need some serious help, man. Haha. They have 2 SG's starting, along with 2 C's at PF and C. I'm wondering what they'll have at PG?? Going from the America East to the WAC will be a huge difference.

What should I do? I want to stay, but I also want to go to Boise...I wish I could save and then come back, but I can't. The game doesn't allow it.

Thanks for the response, bro...thing is, that's what I'm doing at Hartford. Actually, that's what I've always done with all my Franchises/Dynasties, haha.

I always take a nobody and build them into something. I really like my Frontline I've got at Hartford. I think I'm about to sign this 4* PG if I stay there as well.

It's really hard to make the decision at the moment. Thanks, though.
