^^^^ I tried out the Game Speed at 46, it felt great, definitely feels smoother on the offense, but what do you have for Player Speed?

Re: Game speed, vs Player speed Defense?
That's exactly what I've been experimenting with lately: player speed. So far, I've just started it at 0 and moved up about 5 each time until I got where the speed felt about right. I'd say around 25-30 would be a good place to experiment. I prefer 25 with the "speed" attribute in the game sliders at 100 for both CPU/User to give an extra boost in speed when you sprint during fastbreaks. With the player speed between 25-30, it kind of gives a sense of weight or gravity, but not too much to where the players are walking turtles when compared to the player speed at the default 50, which I believe makes slower players fast, and faster players able to compete with the wind. Based on what I've seen with player speed at 25 (and the 100 game slider speed modification), fast players get decent speed on the fast breaks as they should during drives, and slower players at least look like their making an effort (and can stop faster player's drives if they have good position).
When I have time, I plan to look up some players' 3/4 Court sprints and try as best I can to match the speed timings to the speed in the game for possibly more accurate results. I'm thinking of using John Wall with the default 2k8 rosters just to see.Last edited by strobox88; 02-13-2012, 10:39 PM.Comment

Re: Game speed, vs Player speed Defense?
Does game speed actually speed up the clock or just the speed of the action on the court?
EDIT: Never mind; found my answer in the help menu!Comment
