I can understand that, but thats about all you can do is improve your win total. You wouldn't get a shot of taking a cinderella to the big dance and wouldn't get the opportunity to "shock the world" with an upset or two.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: All Div 1 Teams?
This from the Gamespot preview:
"NCAA team to focus its efforts on features that are specific to the college game. This includes more than 400 actual fan chants, 200 of which are team-specific, and the game includes the actual arenas of each of the 328 Division I schools."Comment

That's what I'm thinking too. Hell, they can't even get 119 stadiums on their football game so I'm not believing this one either. Like you, I'm not knocking the game but it just doesn't sound right to me.Comment

Re: All Div 1 Teams?
I keep telling kats on here to stop putting EA Sports games in the same category with each group of people. The football developers don't work with the basketball developers. They all have their individual efforts.
And if you watch the videos they post on their site, not to mention the videos posted by Steve on OS. They had a video showing how they developed the Stadiums this season. And what kind of efforts they put into each individual stadium.
All I'm saying is don't doubt them yet!
It's not BS until you prove them wrong, and none of us can do that.
Gamespot had time with the game, they could be telling the truth. From the demo the 4 stadiums included were all accurate or damn near accurate.
Check out the video on the stadium developments this season. They had guys really putting in the efforts this season. Just from the demo alone you can see they are putting small details into everything this season.Last edited by Behindshadows; 11-09-2008, 08:20 PM.Comment

Re: All Div 1 Teams?
About the whole stadium thing. Obviously they meant courts, because I have seen the same generic stadium for plenty of teams. EA said they would use "close authentic" stadiums or something like that but I have yet to see a different stadium for a team that doesn't have a "full authentic in the game. Its the same round stadium with tunnels and luxery boxes, then a second tier right above that. Refer to the Lobo stadium screen shot.Comment

Re: All Div 1 Teams?
No, not even student section and band location will be right in the generic. It would be hard to do since there is like 1 generic stadium model and every stadium that the 300 teams have are differently laid out and stuff. The only thing "authentic" will be the court itself, I guarantee it.Comment

Look at the video that explains how they are getting every section right...and the stadiums are going to be correct.

Re: All Div 1 Teams?
Honestly, it doesn't matter to me whether or not they have the actual arenas for all the teams, so long as their court has their logo in the center is has a distinction from the others then I'm cool.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

That's all that matters to me too, it's not like I'm exlploring the arena while playing the game, usually just playing basketball.Comment

Re: All Div 1 Teams?
Looks like all the Div 1 teams are not in, this is from the Sportsgamer message board:
EA has never been that good about making sure every D-1 school is in the game, here's a few off the top of my head that I'm wondering about...
Northern Colorado (Big Sky)-yes
Winston-Salem (MEAC)-no
Florida Gulf Coast, Kennesaw State, North Florida, South Carolina Upstate (Atlantic Sun)-no
Presbyterian (Big South)-no
Central Arkansas (Southland)-no
Centenary, IPFW, North Dakota State, South Dakota State (Summit)-no centenary. the other are
Cal State-Bakersfield, Chicago State, Houston Baptist, Longwood, NJIT, NC Central, Savannah State, Seattle, Texas Pan Am, Utah Valley State (Independents)-they didnt' have a category for Independents.
This is why they can't really have authentic schedules, Duke played Presbyterian in there first game and they are not even in the game.NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - St Louis Cardinals
NCAA Football - Michigan Wolverines
NCAA Basketball - UK WildcatsComment
