the only time i had a freezing issue was during my dynasty in which i used the cbs presentation. I havent had a freeze during the espn presentation

Well I finally made it through my dynasty game after deleting the game from my hard drive and playing it from the disc. Maybe this will fix the problem for now. I still think it's crap that we have to try different things to keep it from freezing. Isn't that the developers job? The one's who get PAID?

Game mode playing? Dynasty
Did you update? If so, which dynamic update are you using? No
What teams were you using at the time of the freeze? Michigan
Did you call a timeout? No
Autosubs on/off? Off
If not during gameplay, which screen were you on when the game froze? Froze during gameplay as CPU was setting up offense

Any other information you can think of that would be relevant to helping find the source. None, just bummed... Sigh.

Update: Not only have I not had anymore freezing, but the ESPN presentation doesn't stutter on replays anymore since I've deleted the game from my hard drive and started just playing from the disc. It also solved the issue of the starting five going away too quick for the home team during the pre-game. I emailed EA telling them about our freezing issues, and they gave me the b.s. line about it being my console. LMAO! Also, you all check out Jason2112s sliders. I have been having the best, most realistic games using these.

Think the best way to get rid of freeze is do not make any substitions at all and set slider on auto. Not a big deal, but, better than BOOM

This game is unplayable. I've gotten about 7 freezes in dynasty mode in two days. Its nearly impossible to complete a game in 2 tries.

Well I just had a second half dynasty freeze for the first time while playing from the disc. Everything was going good until this. The only thing different is that I went with CBS presentation. When I play from the disc using ESPN presentation, it hasn't frozen or stuttered yet. I'm telling you the stuttering issue is from installing it to the harddrive because it went away as soon as I deleted it from the harddrive and played it from the disc. Also, it has only frozen on me once in several games since playing from the disc. It froze up almost every game while playing from the hard disk. God I hope EA patches this. It's really an awesome game.

This game is unplayable. I've gotten about 7 freezes in dynasty mode in two days. Its nearly impossible to complete a game in 2 tries.

I am in the same boat. This game freezes so Often I get Nostalgic because NES games didnt freeze this much.

PS3 19 games into my dynasty and have only had the game freeze once going back to campus menu

Renamed rosters (inside game) ?
Downloaded rosters?

I suspect freeze have something to do with player's names

It's froze up on me with CBS and ESPN broadcasts so I don't think that's the issue. It's always in the 2nd half of a dynasty mode game, but sometimes it's after timeouts, sometimes after substitutions, and I've had several freezes just bringing the ball up the court, but every single time it has been in dynasty mode in the second half.

Well, it has finally happened to me. It has definitely got to do something with playing in dynasty. I can't even get through my first dynasty game with JU now. I have tried 3 times and I cant even complete the first game of the season. I try simming it, then it freezes at the campus screen. <-----sarcasm

Im on the 360, play from the disc (not on Hard drive), never downloaded an update, downloaded os rosters....

needless to say I am pissed and also through with this game. Sad, cuz I REALLY liked this game and was having alot of fun with it (even more than last year). But with 2 kids, a job, coaching, and a demanding wife, my gaming time is just way too limited to deal with something like this. I pretty much get about an hour and a half (if that) a night and that is at around 11pm when everyone is asleep! I cant deal with wasting my gaming time on freezes that happen towards the end of my games. Damn EA....you just lost one of your biggest supporters!

EA needs to respond to this stuff.

I say this as someone who hasn't bought the game...but every time I read K-Rob or CountryBoy's posts and how much they loved the game,I thought "hey, i think i'll get it!".

For CB and K-Rob to give up on the game...there's your two biggest advocates giving up.

Will I buy it after reading their problems? Hell no.

These guys deserve better support. Their enthusiasm is what gets guys like me to buy the game. Lose them and you lose the rest of us.
