I just traded my copy in for a non-sports title. I'm really bummed that it came to that, but I bought the game mainly to play dynasty mode, so....

I've been a loyal EA customer since the SNES days. Their brand has suffered tremendously in my eyes due to this. If they don't care about the game, then fine. You wanna shelve it? Fine. You don't wanna patch it? Fine. But at least show some compassion for your loyal customers who spent their money on what you should know is a faulty product. Instead all I have seen them do is look the other way.

I'm really disappointed. Mainly because THE GAME IS SO FREAKING AWESOME! GRRRRRR!!!!!

PM'd blackflash about the freezing issue. This is what he has to say.

"The second update that is upcoming very soon is supposed to address the freezing issues that people have been experiencing on both PS3 and 360. I hope to have additional update details later this week for everyone. This is a known issue and the dev team have spent a considerable amount of time trying to address it."

so there maybe a fix coming in this tuesday.

Very interesting, if dev acknowledge the freeze issue on Live there no hurt to transfer everything on Ncaa. Stop complain and bashin, we must talk about the issue politely. We must support this game and let know the dev is worth one's wile! This game is great and deserve to be fixed, not dropped.

I tried again this morning since my 2 month old daughter had me up anyways...but I was able to get past the first game (simmed). Played my second game and it froze with 3 minutes left in the game during a timeout (I play 18 minute halves). I can't deal with it! I can't even concentrate during the game when I am playing because I am just waiting for it to freeze.

If EA comes out and says they are going to fix the freezing issue, then I am right back on this game. But for now, I'm done.

Seriously, this sucks. The only other game I own is CH2k8 (I only play one game this time of year...basketball).....and I was really set on getting knee deep into dynasty mode again this year with NCAA 10.

so there maybe a fix coming in this tuesday.

It sounds like he's talking about NBA Live. He stated earlier in the week that there were currently NO plans to patch NCAA Basketball 10. If you're expecting an NCAA patch on Tuesday I think you'll be sorely disappointed.

Mate, he talk about Nba Live 10 for sure, but is pretty expected Ncaa woul be fixed too with minimal engagement (same engine), but we must show interest with that franchise.
Is a very good point that dev aknowledge officially the crash issue.

I finally had my first freeze in a dynasty game.

I'm up 17-12 in the first half and call a TO. Freeze after hitting return to game. ESPN broadcast, from disk. First freeze since I bought the game....used.

Anyone experienced freeze during Ncaa torunament, and pretorunament? Quick game seems totally free from the issue (at least PS3).

40% of my dynasty games froze.

None of my tournament mode games froze.

None of my play now games froze.

Same as i... I dnt play Dynasty, beside that never get freezes from other game modes.
Seems a very ralated problem with dynasty so... Maybe a point to focus for the devs.

However, im not too sure about issue placement, since ive got a freeze on Nba Live 10 during exibition game. Let's see...
Would keep to notify my experience, any info are very appreciated...

This is a very odd issue indeed. I have had exactly 2 freezes in over 25 Dynasty games played against 2 different dynasties....and I have never had a game freeze in NBA Live. Heck - I didn't even know it was an issue in NBA Live before this thread.

It saddens me that this is an issue because this game deserves to be played by many. I hope if they do anything at all with this game - they at least patch that.

I've had it happen three times in 5 dynasty games. I don't have more because I've stopped playing.

Console playing on?
1-3. 360

Game mode playing?
1-3. Dynasty

Did you update? If so, which dynamic update are you using?
1-3. Dynamic update 1 and a downloaded roster

What teams were you using at the time of the freeze?
1. Florida
2. Mercer
3. Florida

Did you call a timeout?
1-3. Yes

Autosubs on/off?
1-3. On

If not during gameplay, which screen were you on when the game froze?
1. Gameplay screen during timeout with dpad
2. When CBS logo came up
3. When ESPN logo came up

Any other information you can think of that would be relevant to helping find the source.
All during timeouts with graphics on the screen during dynasty in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Just a question and a thought...has anyone had it freeze when doing the on the fly subs? I usually do mine after i bring the ball across half court when im feeling up for a substitution...I havent had it as bad as others.

Not that it excuses them for not patching a game with this sort of problem, but if this may help anyone...
