Had my first freeze today 22 games into my dynasty.

Did you update? If so, which dynamic update are you using?
Just the first update (the one released first Tuesday after release)

What teams were you using at the time of the freeze?

Did you call a timeout?
Yes, I called a TO in the first half after the CPU made two FT to go up by 4. I was on the baseline and just decided to call TO to get my starters back in the game. I picked substitutions and was scrolling up and down to look at the fatigue levels of my starters vs bench. I was going back down to scroll through the bench players and all of a sudden, the game froze.

Autosubs on/off?
On

Adding that the game was the ESPN broadcast with no commentary.

Seems like I cant even get a game in w/o this thing freezing up, so frustrating

I don't know if this helps anyone (i don't have the game yet...waiting until they fix this up)...

Anyway...in NBA Live 10, my game only ever froze after i'd saved a replay.

After that save...it would lock up during the same game when i called a T/O or even after i'd finished the game and was back in the hangar. It would freeze and I'd have to eject the disk + turn off the PS3 to get the freeze off my screen.

Again, not sure if that helps. From reading your posts, it almost sounds completely random.

If not during gameplay, which screen were you on when the game froze? Froze during gameplay as CPU was setting up offense

Any other information you can think of that would be relevant to helping find the source. None, just bummed... Sigh.

Update : Until today, I had not played this game since it froze on me a few days ago (above). I decided to try and play the game vs. Wake Forest again after I got home tonight. I got through it with absolutely no freezes, I lost, but it didn't freeze, so that's OK. Bizarre issue indeed.

I start to think edited rosters is a point.

I am 7 games into my dynasty w/o any dynamic updates or online and have had 0 freezes.

Well, I picked up the game again the other day and started enjoying it for what it's worth. It still has it's very nice presentation and motion offense that I do find addicting. There are several other issues that need to be fixed, many of which have all been discussed in this forum, but being I paid $60 for this game I'm going to try and get my moneys worth out of it for the good things it does offer.

In regards to freezing, I started playing a new Indiana St. dynasty with all the dynamic updates included and after 4 games in, I've not experienced another freezing issue. Every time a TO is called, I go to the start screen and do my roster substitutions from there being that the freezing I experienced came from trying to make substitutions from the menu that showed up during TO's.

Downloaded the initial set, v1.0. Then started franchise. Played another game today and no freezes. 2 in a row.

suffered my 1st freeze last night

playing on 360
dynasty mode
@Puerto Rico Classic 4:35 into the game (11-10 me)
opponent called a timeout ( I was on an 8-0 run)
froze at the menu screen.

I've had several freezes so far most recently tonight playing with Florida Atlantic@ASU it's so annoying in the 2nd half with 4:36 left it takes the fun out of this game.

I would like to let everyone know that I have isolated the freeze issue. It is from using up on the d-pad during a timeout. I had about 5 straight freezes on me and I just knew it had to do with that and ever since I have quit doing that, I have had no freeze issues. I've played about 15 consecutive games without a freeze by just pausing to make subs or using the up arrow during the game. I am very happy about this because I was about to throw the game in the trash.

This is great news. My copy should arrive tomorrow and now I can hopefully play it without freaking out about freezes. I can handle a freeze every 20 or 30 games but some of you guys had me thinking I should just keep it sealed and get a full refund. Now I'll give it a chance.

I've made subs from the time out menu with no problems, but I've also not had any freezes at all since getting the game.
