Downloaded the initial set, v1.0. Then started franchise. Played another game today and no freezes. 2 in a row.

Played 5 more games with no freezes, completely confused at this point is to why that is. Oh well.

No freezes here yet, but never played Dynasty before today...
Now ive tried several games on Dynasty with subs trough menu (not d-pad menu's), no freeze at all.

I have a random story from a friend who also has the game on PS3 and has experienced freezing issues...

The game seemed to freeze on him in dynasty every 5 or so games, but he told me it froze during the game, not during a timeout, so what he's been doing is this...

Play 4 games. Delete game data. Play 4 games. Delete game data. Repeat.

He's been doing this for about 2 weeks now and hasn't had a single freeze and is already in the third year of his dynasty, so that's probably about 100 games or so. I can imagine this being an inconvience, because the game takes about 7-10 minutes to install but he says it's been running great.

Thought I would share this for anyone who is looking for a last resort fix.

Mine would freeze up during the game and also during the replays when the ESPN logo or CBS logo would pop up after the replay. I tried literally everything I could think of, and after I stopped hitting anything other than down on the d-pad (resume game) during a timeout, the game stopped freezing. I've had about 20 consecutive DYNASTY no freeze games. No stuttering either on replays since I play from the disc instead of the hard drive.

I noticed the same thing as well, I avoid the TO screen all together by hitting start, doing any subs I need too, then once I click start again to go back to the game I automatically leave the TO menu. Since I've been doing that I haven't experienced a single freezing issue.

Honestly that condition is unacceptable for me.
And this is not a solution either...
I think Jason hit the spot, i always thinked freeze has something to do with fast subs, both Ncaa 09 and Live 10 freeze on me during that operation. All of u guys, lets try some matches with subs performed via menu's, and share your impressions.
D-Pad subs dnt bother me at all, as i prefere management trough menu's. Without that issue, this is a massive game.

Just gonna let everyone know that I'm going on about 23 straight games without a freeze after having about 5 in a row. Only difference is the d-pad thing during a timeout. I just immediately hit the down arrow to resume to the game. I do my subs either in the action by hitting the up arrow during play or I hit start and do it from there. I'm having super results also with the slider adjustments that I've tweaked. They're posted in Jason2112's AC Slider thread. I was about an inch away from being done with this game and selling it back though. Glad I stuck with it.

I just had a game freeze where I was trying to make in-game subs while the cpu was attempting a free throw. Might be safest to avoid making subs during game play as well.

I had my first freeze during my 5th game into my dynasty. About 3 min in I adjusted the in air collision slider down to 35 and it froze about 1 min or so later. Overall the only thing I have done out of the box was adjust my mid and long range shooting sliders, and turned the fouls up. Other than those 3 sliders, that's all I've done and it hasn't froze until I changed it in game.

Too early to tell if that in game adjustment made it freeze, because I've only played one game since then. I'm not touching the sliders anymore.

I just bought this game today, and on my third game I had my first freeze....it was on a time out called by the cpu, I made one change, I changed the defensive pressure on the SG to Tight...and then....

IT FROZE on the cheerleader cutscene......lol

Like Jason, I avoid the TO screen ALL together. I just hit start and do any adjustments from there, then once I hit start again it automatically goes back to the game. Doing that I've yet to experience a single freeze.

I've had the day free to devote to NCAA so I've played about 5 games. I'm going on about 28 straight games with no freezing since avoiding d-pad adjustments during a timeout. Absolutely loving the game. It's tough as hell (I'm 10-5 in my dynasty), but it's tough in real life, and I love the challenge.

I just had my first freeze the other day after about 10-15 games or so. It happened when I hit start to answer a phone call and it never let me back to the game!

Never had a problem with d pad subs though.

This happened to me as well, resulting in my second freeze. Luckily it was only a minute into my game.

Some of the local stores around me are pulling this game from their shelves because of so many returns of this game due to freezing.
