In March and April, NBC would show 2 games on Sat. and 3 on Sundays almost every weekend.

NBA on NBC was the best network the nba ever had, the music was catchy bob costas was doing it even though i hate him, the half time show was filled even though i hate peter vesecy or what ever his name is, but it was enjoyable my fav memory was the finals and costas was like this may be the final shot we ever see jordan take and then he made to win wow memories

NBA TV is filling the void left by NBCs departure. They even keep the real NBA on NBC music for a nice nostalgic effect. Even they know that there was something special about that theme song.

I knew it was going down the tubes when they allowed Will Smith to perform that abomination called "switch" right before the intros... I clearly remember sitting there with my mouth agape, thinking, "WTF?" Then the intros had to go and be changed from the usual running out between your teammates to that weak All-Star game style crap...

I miss NBC coverage so much, i always look back on classic bulls games my uncle has and how i used to love it. Nothing beats NBC coverage, Marv Albert commentating during the playoffs at MSG.

one thing nbc does way better are the stories they do on the players during halftime. Very deep, well done, and very interesting. And they happened all the time. I really liked those, its probably why i like COSTASNow and Real Sports so much. But not, they make crap on how Ginobli's Grandma is so proud....who's grandmother isn't proud they're grand child is in the nba? And they didn't go deep in Bowen's story either.
