just keep in mind that you CAN NOT change the quarter length. So choose wisely.
ID2003 is the first game ever that i play 12 minute quarters.
I turned down 2pt, 3pt, and hookshots by two-three notches (i'm still looking for the best setting) and get an average of 45% shooting. I take my time on offense and see realistic scores -- so far 97-96 and 101-89
I just wish we could get to the line more. but it's still kool.
also, what you guys said about teams playing like their real counterparts...AMAZING! I played the Celtics in a game with the Bulls and Walker and Pierce kept pulling up three after three. I think they had close to 25 attempts in the game as a team.
I also played Philly and Iverson always gets the ball. He also drives like Iverson. Most guards in ID would stay back around the arc...but Iverson actually fights for the ball in the paint and was all over the place.
Miami loves to play the isolation (a favorite of Pat Rileys) for their hot player. I didnt even realize it till after the game that my defensive stance against Miami was totally different than Philly. With Philly I had to chase Iveson around, but with Miami I was always in a one on one situation against the hot player while the other players moved to the outside and just watched. Impressive stuff.
One last thing, anybody else notice that ID has something that 2k3 has that no one mentioned? It's the different hair styles. Sega pretty much marketed the whole deal that Ben Wallace might have the fro one day and the braids the other. Iverson also has different cornrows. Well this is also in ID2003.
So far I've noticed:
Ben Wallace: Fro, Crownrows
Jermaine O'Neal: Headband, NO headband
Any others people have noticed???
