Ill rather take the chance with Frye or another Center from the draft over Darko.

I still don't understand all the hate for Darko, sure he hasn't played a lot but he's still younger than Lebron and Carmelo, I mean he's only 19 years old. If Darko fufills even a bit of his potential, these Pistons will be the favorites for the title, easily.

He just was not ready at the time to play NBA ball.

All the reports I have been reading say that he has gotten much better and stronger. His conditioning is also better. WHen he came his conditioning was a joke due to where he came from. People will be eating lots of crow, just like they did with Jermaine O'Neal. Delfino will also be a player to watch. He has been compared to a Ginobli type player but is raw. Hopefully they work out.

I think the summer league will help his development a lot.

Personally, I think he'll make it.

For him to play though...who loses minutes? Dice?

Darko will play Center. They will probably let Campbell go this offseason, and give Darko his minutes.

Thats a good question. I think they need to cut down on Ben and Sheed's minutes so they stay fresh through the season although Sheed cuts his own minutes down with his foul trouble. Dice might even get more time next year if he stays healthy so that is a good question CV. He has to play though and I think he will under a new coach. I think Mr. D is canning Larry even if he wants to come back. Imangine a front line of Darko, Ben, and Sheed at the SF :y4:. Maybe it could work in spurts.

JT Olden never played except when they were in severe foul trouble or when they played Shaq, so that scenerio doesnt work unfortunately.

I think that it wasn't a smart pick, but as for next season I think it all depends upon Brown. If Brown is gone I think that he will play. If Brown is still there I think that the front office will tell him to play him, and if he doesn't, they will trade him.

Emotionally, Darko will crash. Even if he does get minutes, I dont think he'll be very good. Sure, he has potential, but we say that about everybody.

I think he'll get bullied in summer leagues. Pushed around.

I think he should spell B. Wallace off the bench. But he needs minutes.

I trust Joe Dumars. Darko will be a stud eventually.

Even if it takes 2-3 more years, and everyone on the planet has given up on him...he'll still be a 22-23 year old veteran with size, range, good schooling, and a mean streak. Could be nasty.

Dumars doesnt know or didnt where Darko would take his game to.

If detroit would have passed on him he still would have went ahead of Bosh, wade and hinrich cause every GM wanted a 7 foot diamond in the ruff.

Darko shows very little potential when he plays its like watching a center in his late 30's!

Howeva there is so much pressure on him I expect fear and jitters to rattle him.

Send him to the Rucker this summer and see what he can do against those wolves.
