Re: Lakers already bickering
I haven't read the article yet, but they play this drama out all the time. The season starts off in fighting and everyone's unhappy. "Someone might need to be traded for this to work." Then every year they just turn it on when playoff time comes and no one can stop them. I think with winning the problems will go away, but I suppose that this year might be different since the Kings and Mavs might be close enough to give them a run for their money. I doubt the Lakers are actually worried enough about he Mavs and Kings to implode during the season or playoffs, they're a team that will step up to rise to the challenge when it's time.Twitter:@Fetter21

Re: Lakers already bickering
I guess Kobe is back to his ole ways.Same ole story every year. I'm getting tired of it. By April this whole mess will be cleared up. I'm starting to think the Lakers use stuff like this every year to somehow get them motivated to win a championship. Enough Already
I hope that dynasty falls and crumbles very soon. I think Kobe feels the same way. He's tired of hiding behind Shaq........

Re: Lakers already bickering
I am wondering if this is just another story created to make people believe the lakers are fallin apart when actually they are sittin back just waitin for the right time to strike... i mean first shaq vs kobe then shaq vs phil now kobe vs Tex and next year it will be phil vs tex.. then jerry buss vs shaq kobe and phil....but one thing i noticed.. when i saw one of the preseason games kobe was takin all the shots most unnecessary but phil didnt seem to get upset. as if he wanted him to take over.. something just dont seem rightComment

Re: Lakers already bickering
When has Phil ever gotten upset? I've seen teams go on a 20-2 run against the Lakers and Phil is sitting there reading a book on the sidelines. You could punch him in the kidney and he'd calmly explain how you missed the open cutter in the lane.
I can't believe Bryant told Tex that he coached stupidly. Yeah, I mean, what, the guy only invented an offense that has secured 8 championships in 10 years. I mean, hell, where's the credibility in that?Comment

Re: Lakers already bickering
Yea, Phil doe'nt get upset, and I think the Kobe and Shaq +Fox have been spending entirely too much time amongst the Hollywood celebs. Their heads are bigger than hot air ballons. The Lakers remind me of those old Major League movies. There is a lot of animosity against eachother until the end of the season where everyone plays thier role and they somehow pull off a championship.
I bet u outside the locker room, those players all go thier seperate ways and dont even hang out or nothin.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Yea, I can see Shaq as that Big Bald Guy in the locker room liting incense and praying and I can see Kobe as Willie Mayes Hayes.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Lakers already bickering
I hate the lakers also, but I dont agree with PJ being a sellout,
Everyones favroite GM Jerry Riensdorf broke the Bulls up and he was'nt gonna pay Phill or Jordan the money they wanted and deserved. So they split. All chicago ppl know JR is a cheap [censored] who would'nt pay T-Mac his money when he wanted to come here. (or was that T-Mac)some one please clarify.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Lakers already bickering
I remember JR sucsessfully broke up that great Bulls team single handeddly. They had opportunities to get guys like Juwan Howard (when he could play better of coarse) and even KG at one point, but they didn't like the way he did business and he chose to treat his players like they didn't matter much
. Remember he signed Toni Kukoc from Croatia before he signed Pippen in Kukoc's first year? MJ only got the 30 million 1yr contract because he was MJ, and by that time he had Phil MJ and Scottie all upset at the treatment he'd given them. None of them really wanted to leave, but of coarse JR burned them to the point where they left in their own separate ways as if he was tired of winning championships.

Re: Lakers already bickering
I told you Kobe lovers that, he was unable to lead a team. It's not his fault cause he never played by hiself on a team. He will get better at it. But I will say this, KOBE IS NOT THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE!!!!!!!! Until he learns to lead a team I will not even consider him for the category. Yes he's one four titles but, he hasn't proven to be a leader. And don't even say McGrady, cause he isn't that much better either, even though he can carry a team. Like Garnett he can't get his team past the 1st round. But that will change with Grant Hill's arrival. I would say Iverson but, his off-court escapades kills his team and his coach, but he is showing signs of improvement. The truth is, despite his age, Michael Jordan is still the best player in the league. He may not be as good as he use to be, but he still has pep in his step and is a proven leader. Jordan doesn't wine and complain that he's better than B.Davis, he's just on a bad team (T-Mac) or that his coaches are stupid (Kobe) or even pratice (Iverson), Jordan gets on your case, whether your playing bad D. or not knowing your assignment he always going to be on your case. Just like Charles said last night, you need that one guy that'll pop you in the mouth and be in your face, to push you to play your best, that's a leader. Comment
