lakers win. nice start to the season, minus the slop. but thats to be expected.. its the FIRST GAME of the season. kobe. thats all i can say.

Kobe reminded me of Jordan tonight.

His intensity and will to win took over as the game went on. Way to go.

EDIT: And before everybody freaks out and lashes out at me for making the comparison, regulars here will know I never thought much of Kobe throughout his whole career. But with Phil and the triangle, this comparison is legit in my eyes. It looks like he's finally matured to fill his potential.

Good start to the Lakers season.


Definately noticed defensive improvements over last year.

Neither team played exceptionally well (how many fricken' lobs do you have to see before you actually try to defend them), but this Laker team is a better DEFENSIVE team than last year. Last years team would have lost this game by 10 points.

Its not a big deal. I wasnt even talking about the hit. Just the little acting after the shot. I saw the hit, I also so the acting. Not trying to pretend neither happened.

Like I said, he hit the next one as he should have, so no biggie.
I also stress again, you wanna win and you iso Kmart 17 feet from the basket

This game was butt ugly but atleast we won....

This is one of those you just want to forget about. We played really badly but we pushed through

hopefully LO and Kwame(give him the ball!!!) could step their up vs PHX.
