News about Chicago sports from the Chicago Tribune: Bears, Cubs, White Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks, Sky and more.

    Then it gets uncertain.

The Pacers were supposed to challenge the Pistons, but mostly they're challenging each other—to fights. After Austin Croshere complained about a lack of leadership without naming names—hello, Jermaine O'Neal—O'Neal and Stephen Jackson had to be separated during a home loss to Atlanta.

Even Hawks players said the Pacers seemed uninterested, and Jackson was booed by the home crowd.

here is the list of NBA teams and the results from my view point if Artest goes:

      - Celtics: DSL(Doesn't seem likely)
      - Nets: Could be possible since it's close to New York but DSL.
      - Knicks: Most likely destination. Knicks won't improve by much but they'll be slight better.
      - Sixers: DSL
      - Raptors: DSL
      - Bulls: DSL
      - Cavaliers: Second best possible destination. Detriot and Miami might have to make room in the Eastern conference for the top spot battle.
      - Pistons: If Hell freezes over, yes.
      - Bucks: DSL
      - Hawks: DSL
      - Bobcats: DSL
      - Heat: Could be possible if they can trade Walker in the deal. Book them for the Finals if he goes there.
      - Magic: DSL
      - Wizards: DSL
      - Maericks: DSL
      - Rockets: DSL
      - Grizzlies: DSL
      - Hornets: DSL
      - Spurs: DSL
      - Nuggets: DSL
      - T-Wolves: DSL
      - Blazers: Would be a nice fit considering the cast of outcast but DSL.
      - Sonics: DSL
      - Jazz: DSL
      - Warriors: DSL
      - Clippers: DSL
      - Lakers: A long shot but the possibilty is there for him for this team. Put them in the Western Conference Finals if he goes here.
      - Suns: DSL
      - Kings: The rumors for him being traded for Peja still is going but I don't think it's going to happen. DSL.

He wants to play in New York so he can scout better talent for his record label....

Bird would have to be crazy to trade us Artest unless he thought his attitude would hurt us. And until we get more defense, we cannot be labeled as a top team in the east. With that said, I could tolerate having Artest assuming he behaves a little. Afterall, this is a city that has dealt w/ baseball players running down kids in SUVs, closing pitchers touching young women, football players shoving refs, football players landing on a knife that is somehow facing up at the bottom of the stairs, etc.

Not even LeBron can help it if Artest starts acting on CLE if he will indeed goes there. The chaos will probably force Lebron to leave. CLE better think this real hard since Artest can be a great asset or a ticking bomb that can poison the Franchise. Afterall, CHI made it through with Rodman when everyone else gave up on him. But then Rodman has a great respect for MJ enough to shut him up nicely. Plus CHI can live with or without Rodman, and CLE will have to sacrifice one of thier core players (possibly Hughes who is complementing LeBron nicely) for Artest.

Bird is president of Pacers Sports and Entertainment.

Walsh is the CEO of Pacers, Fever, etc.

So Donnie will be the one trading Ronnie. Bird is in Europe on a scouting trip. Donnie is already (supposedly) working the phones.

And I dont see Donnie seinding Ronnie to Cle to play with Bron.
