This will be a step back for IND if they will loss Artest. On the other hand, if IND will take Marbury or Richardson and Crawford for Artest it would be interesting for IND. Richardson and Crawford combine could give IND about the same offensive intensity (maybe more) that they will miss from Artest. With Marbury, IND just added an above average PG that is very experienced. IND only need to persuade Marbury or Crawford to share or spread the ball.

watching Kobe lit my Mavs up for nearly 30 in the first half made me really want to see him in a Mavs uniform.

Who would want this guy after this latest stunt. The team supports this clown after his pathatic acts and now he pulls this crap. This guy is a joke and has serious problems. I hope the Knicks get him. I would give it a month before he chokes out LB. That would be pure comedy.

I realize he has great ability but this guy could bring a good team down really fast. The Pacers should be challenging the Pistons and Heat out east but right now they are a total mess. Any title contending team who has succeeded so far without Artest this year should be very cautious of trading for this guy. You could be a legitimate playoff threat and throw it all way in pulling the trigger on Artest. I wouldn't sacrifice young talent to get him either.

Artest is not oging to NY, and we are not taking Marbury at all.

Artest is going to go to a horrible team.

Look, the last team a Pacers player demanded a trade (Harrington), he ended up in Atlanta. The equivalent of basketball hell.

Artest is not going to go to a team that he can hurt the Pacers on (so the Cavs are out unless we get Lebron) and he is not going to go to a team he wants to (so the Knicks are out)

I have said from the get go I would not be surprised at all to see him end up in Toronto. He would absolutely hate that. He would not get any of the media attention he wants there.

And I would love every second of it.

as a fan of the nba in general, i would not want artest going to a team who is rebuilding. i'd like to see him go to NJ, philly, or sacramento. all of those teams could be elevated on paper to being very very serious contenders -assuming that those three teams wouldn't have to give up a substantial amount of talent-.

also wouldnt mind seeing a third party being involved.

I'll gladly take Artest if it means we can get rid of Marbury.

I think Philly might work for him. Then again it might not, from the sound of those comments it seemed like he wanted the ball more and with A.I. and C-Webb that won't happen. But then he did say he would come off the bench so I don't know what he really wants. He would definately sure up their D and would be a definate upgrade over Korver.

I don't think TOR is willing to sacrifice some of it's key players (unless it is Jalen) for a player that has no intentions to make a long term commitment to them. Artest is a cancer to a team he will be unconfortable with and a lot of smart GM's knows that (except those who will take the risk). Especially if Artest tantrums can cost a GM's job and jeopardize the image and the franchise itself.

I dont see us taking Jalen back.

I think we get Mo Pete, if were lucky.

DW has done a good job of finding young talent, so I have faith in him.

Hell, I hated the Dale Davis for JO trade, and that turned out great.
