They were working out a deal with the Nuggets but it wasn't for Carmelo.

Also if Artest isn't happy with his opportunities in Indy, how is he going to feel sharing the ball with Kobe, Rose, and Odom. This is too bad of a deal for Indy and I doubt it happens.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

why does it always have to involve the lakers. I am gonna have to stop watching the nba if the lakers keep getting the stupid spotlight.

Hhhmmm, it's a tough decision for Bird.

                            George for Artest

Bird also can demand Marbury and Crawford for Artest.

If all the Pacers get for Ron is Devan George...then every Pacers fan has a right to ask for their money back IMO.

And Jermaine O'Neal would be within his rights to demand a trade...

This team is CLOSE to being a championship team...they NEED one or two pieces to go to that level.

This trade is that chance to get to the elite level.

If all they get is Devan George, they'll go DOWN a level to "first round and out".

That would be one of the most one sided trades in history in LA's favour IMO.

Side note: I'm using the Lakers in NBA 2K6 360 as I love running a triangle offense. I'm not much of a Kobe fan, but I love playing that point forward type game with Lamar running the triangle. As I keep rosters 'real'...this trade would be great. I am losing games ATM and desperately need a defensive stopper

Hmmm...just saw that the full trade would include Lamar going to the Pacers.

That actually makes a hell of a lot more sense and would be a good move for them.

The whole thing actually makes sense as Rose could step in and play the role of bringing the ball up in the triangle along with Kobe.

Maybe there's some truth to it

If Odom went to the Pacers, I wonder what his role would be. IMO he's best as a "point forward" and their team ATM doesn't really suit a point forwards game. If Jermaine played more C and Odom shared the ball handling with Tinsley, it could be a good move though. Interesting.
