Nash Is Still The MVP In My Eyes...

Hes averaging more points...same amount of assists and more rebounds than last year. Although his shooting is a lil down...he still shoots very high percentages for a guard.

Everybody thought PHX was going to fail without Amare but they have not...@ all. No Drop off wht so ever. Nash makes players around him so much better...Boris Diaw? Who knew he was as good a player as he is on his last 2 teams? In my opinion nobody is really challenging Nash right now for that MVP spot. Its really no contest. Although I dnt think he will win it but he should. Nash is the new J Kidd. Yea i kno about Chauncey Billups and wht not but hes doing this with alot more chemistry than nash. Phx has 3 diff starters from last year and about 7 diff players than they had last year. And they are still one of the top teams. Well not so much without Amare but they can compete with the best of them. They even beat the spurs without Amare. Just imagin their team WITH Amare... Discuss

I agree with you. Billups already has a team with chemistry whereas nash got together a bunch of new guys and made them contenders without amare.

Nash has been amazing. When Amare comes back they should be tough. I would still take CB1. In the playoffs that size and defense he plays will be a bigger asset.

If AI was considered a PG, he will be best in the L right now.

i think more then anything the free flowing high tempo offense allows player like boris diaw to rack up the numbers hes getting. i wouldnt necesarily say nash is making him better... saying that... nash is still the best PG in the nba right now, with jason kidd a close close second, baron davis third (homer)

I love Nash. He's made it clear he was the leader of that Mavs team he was on, and this team goes with him.

This is one of the most fun teams to watch since, well since.

I think its insane to have Boris Diaw playing center and being highly effective, even for short periods of time.

I love coaches who adjusts to the players they have. I would really love to see these guys, with Amare of course in the finals against DET.

Nash is aiight. What trips me out is Pat Riley comparing him to Magic Johnson. I know jockin' Nash is the thing to do these days, but let's not get carried away with comparisons to Magic, even if it's coming from Riley himself. Nash is nowhere near Magic's level.

I don't see how it's far off. Nash may not be as good of a scorer, but he's just as good of a playmaker. Rebounding, well Magic was 6'9" and Nash...isn't.

Magic is obviously better but Nash isn't too far behind.

Yer kiddin', right? Magic woulda taken Nash to the woodshed if Nash's Suns played against his Lakers. Magic's used to lead his teams to victory over superior Suns teams that had KJ, Majerle and Chambers.

So? That doesn't mean anything. Magic may be able to go off on Nash but the Suns can neutralize everyone else on the court, except maybe Kareem. Amare would have a field day against anyone, the Lakers are no exception. It would be a lot closer than you're thinking it would be.

One great season and this kid could have a "field day against anyone".

                              Wow!
