    Something scary to think about

I don't know where JJ Reddick is projected to go but I know the Suns could have a mid-first round pick this year. Imagine if JJ Reddick falls to them...JJ Reddick on the Suns...oh goodness.

Yeah I don't think he'll be a great pro but if falls to the Suns that is the perfect team for him with Steve Nash on it.

unfortunately, that is the only thing about his game that is amazing. he's not big, fast, athletic, a good ball handler, passer, or defender. so, i really doubt he becomes a great pro. i'm thinking role player.

I figure him to be similiar to Kyle Korver after a year or so in the league.

Not that i'm complaining because i'm a Suns fan, but how are they gonna get a mid first round pick.

I'd be damn giddy if the Suns get him

haha....wait until the pre-Draft camp and when he gets in 1-on-1 workouts with athletic defenders. He'll be cooked. JJ can shoot, gee whiz can he shoot, but that's it.

Korver has more all around game than Redick does. Korver is also a good 3 inches taller than Redick, and plays the 3. Redick is undersized as a 2. I'm not saying he'll be terrible, but I don't think his game is going to transate to the NBA as well as some people seem to think.

I remember a Duke player who was a great shooter and was projected to go pretty early. The Cavs took him. His name was Trajan Langdon. Oops

See that's the problem. The CAVS took him. If the wrong team takes a Duke star, the Duke star sucks. If the right team takes a Duke star, then he'll be good (Grant Hill in his healthier days)

In the Suns/Redick case, he'd be perfect with the possible back to back MVP passing him the ball.

At the time, the Cavs were a perfect fit for Tragic..err Trajon ( met him a few times...Cool guy, sucky ball player).

They had just picked up Shawn Kemp, and with Z coming off injuries they expected a lethal inside/outside offense and needed guys to perch on the outside and drill 3's so they got him and Wesley Person. They both sucked balls...

Anyway, I think Reddick has a quick enough release to be a pretty good NBA shooter..he's also got some moxie, which will help.

if somebody can play then a team will be able to use you. i can't say i agree with your analysis of "duke stars".. because if you truly are good enough to play in the nba then there will always be a team for you. in langdon's case, he couldn't cut it period. in hill's case obviously the man was a star so it didn't matter what team took him.

as far as reddick, i have to believe he fits in somewhere in the nba.
