Well it's only his second year, and KG didn't have a great shot in his second year, KG wasn't a great outside shooter at all when he came into the leauge. A lot of KG's point came from inside the paint.

He's the best rebounder in the league. He'd be a 20 ppg scorer if he didn't play with ball hogs like Stevenson and Francis. He can block shots. His post game is solid. Great hoot shot and he can just overpower people. He could end up better than Amare.

That kid is gonna be a beast. He is already leading the L in rebounds per, but I could possibly see him get up to 20 rpg. He's still learning the game, and when he finally figures it out all out, it's gonna be tough to stop him.

This current crop of big men is very impressive. From Amare, to Dwight, to Bosh, they all add something new to the game. Extremely athletic, play hard, and work hard. Good to see in these young guys.

he doesn't have the same body as KG nor the same type game. KG is wiry, long, who has the skill set of a guard.. howard is like a freaking hulk who is a primary inside type player. what howard's capable of at this age is pretty frightening. too bad he's under contract for two or three more seasons i would love to see him in LA.

I think him and Darko are going to complement each other perfectly. Dwight is a strong paint player and an excellent rebounder. Darko is better from about 10-12 feet out, and is an excellent shot blocker. Their games should click perfectly and form a terrific inside duo for Orlando for the next decade.

It won't be up to them. You think they wanted to let Shaq walk or wanted to deal TMac to avoid having him walk out and get nothing in return.

If they can dump Francis on somebody this year or next then they will be in perfect position to keep Howard. They will be able to offer him the big money as well as having the money to make a run in free agency to get a big name once Grant Hill is off of the books. But if they can't dump Francis it will hurt them in terms of developing Howard and keeping them from having the money to go after a legitimate star guard in a couple of years.

I'm guessing that deal with the Knicks fell through with Cato being delt to Detroit? That was the best hope, if they can't dump Francis on Isiah Thomas, who can you dump him on? Just get him out of town, for players with expiring contracts and Dwight Howard's chances of staying in Orlando increase exponentially.

When was the last time a 19/20 year old led the league in rebounding? The kid is just crazy good, give him time to develop more back to the basket post moves and he is going to be a staple in All Star games for years.

                              Who? Orlando?

It wasn't Orlando's fault, Shaq & TMac simply didn't want to play there. In order to keep Howard they have to show a commitment to getting him good, young talent around him to keep them competitive for a while. Nelson could be a good PG, he had some great games before getting hurt. If(a HUGE if) Darko pans out into a decent player, that forward combo will be good for years. They just need to dump the cap money of Francis and wait for Hill's contract to run out so they can both keep their current good young players(Nelson & Howard) and also make a run at a big FA type, probably a SG.

Howard isn't going to stay long if he has to play with Francis for too much longer, the current team isn't going anywhere. They need to clean out their roster a bit of some big contracts and build young, otherwise Howard is out the door to a contender.
