                      Mike D'Antoni deserves Coach of the Year even MORE than Steve Nash deserves the MVP.

                          Well lots of coaches are deserving and you guys have nailed the list. I will say that before the year started people laughed at Flip and thought he was a downgrade from Larry. Media questioned how he always lost in the first round blah blah blah. Now he is 61-15 and its because he has good players. Total crap, just like the reason Billups can't win MVP. Flip deserves top 3 for sure no matter what.

                                              It's close between Avery and Byron Scott.

                                              I think Avery used this entire offseason to revamp the Mavs entire philosophy defensively and offensively. The guy was coaching summer league games instead of vactioning like other coaches.

                                              He prepared Dirk this offseason for the matchups thatteams would throw at him with smaller and quicker defenders. He also new that as a result of those matchups Josh Howard would see alot of PF's defending him like KG, Duncan and Brand. Avery had Howard commit in the summer to working on his ball handling and penatration in preparation to take advantage of big guy's trying to defend him on the perimeter.

                                              That's called a coach thinking ahead a year in advance of what looks his team might see in the upcoming season.

                                                  If the Hornets make the playoffs, I would lean towards Scott. If not, I would probably lean towards DAntoni. For the Suns to win 50+ games after losing Amare and Joe Johnson is pretty damn impressive.
