is nash's idea of playing defense jumping in front of and under people to draw charges? That's all he seems to do on defense.

He actually had perfect position. They just didnt call it for him
His teammates should be ashamed though that the little man is out there doing all he can to win, even trying to defend the middle (when they should be) and they are nowhere around.
Problem with nash is, they never call it. Remember Ricky Davis?Comment

It was a charge, but it's impressive how little Kobe actually touched Nash's body considering how far Kobe was from the basket. Nash pretty much obsorbed the contact with his forarm which he stuck out.
IMHO Nash deserves to win the MVP. Congrats to him.
Time for game three.Fulham FC...Showin' em love.

Originally posted by luv_mistMan, that dunk just got my blood rushing. I was about to head to my room and go to lay down when Kobe caught that and found that little Canadien standing there underneath the rim. I definitely should have been a charge, but what fun would that be?? If Kobe can do anything like Mike, he can attack that rim and throw it down. I give him that at the least. Man he's been doing big things. Oh my goodness was that game wonderful. Kobe, don't fall under the pressure man.
That dunk was nasty as hell. Even Nash had to get a laugh out of it during the post-game interview.Comment

Scott Skiles said yesterday that he may switch his starting lineup for tonight. Allen & Sweetney out, Deng & Chandler in. Hopefully this gets us goung early tonight. We definitely need to see Deng step it up, he has been out of sorts the first two games.Comment

On the Lakers/Suns front.... think about this...
Except for ONE quarter in both games, the Lakers have figured out the Suns ON THEIR HOME COURT. Anybody see this being the Lakers' series yet? LAL has given them fits after figuring them out after the first quarter of game one. Suns were supposed to dominate this Laker team but LAL looks like they're the ones that have come to play. Everything could change in LA though... still, if I was a Suns fan I'd be little bit uneasy with the Lakers seemingly able to significantly slow down Phoenix. If Nash doesn't shoot out of his mind in game 2, they get blown out. If Kobe has any type of game in game 1, LAL is up 2-0... still two fairly close games so it could go either way.
Anybody thinking the Lakers weren't going to compete, cough cough, Kashanova, should officially state you're dead wrong."Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment
