Well, it wasn't really a negative on Lebron, more like ripping on the NBA's rule enforcement.

Why? Because the mod is a Cavs fan and got annoyed at someone saying something negative about the man.
Goodness, it really isn't that big of a deal.

Heck, why have whole forums for any sport? Obviously, everything should fit in one of three threads:

          1. regular season
          2. playoffs
          3. off-season

I understand wanting to cut out duplicate threads and all, but sometimes...

And back to the topic at hand. Nice dunk, but it shouldn't have counted because it was a charge. Player has right to space above his head, so even if contact was minimal in force, that should be going the other way.

I didn't check though - did he travel first?

The refs also should have called that foul on Tim Thomas in the first game when he put that knot on Kobe's head, but hey the refs blew it, time to move on.Nice dunk by Kobe,Inside the NBA must have shown it 15 times.

The knot actually came from something else, as Thomas hit him on the complete other side of his head, yet Kobe acts like he got raped so bad his head knotted up.

lol. he did get hit pretty hard matrix and you know that. and kobe was upset because the no call was at a very crucial part of the game, with under 2 minutes remaining.. as for "acting", what about raja last night appearing to have a broken bone in his foot or leg, rolling around on the ground for a couple minutes like he couldn't stand?

nash also initiated contact with his forearm and started falling backwards before contact was made, so it could have been a blocking foul too

Rule is you can move to protect yourself - the Nash raised arm kept a knee from his face. Whether he was leaning back or not, he clearly had the position, squared to Kobe and outside the line. It's a charge.

Of course, you'll never see it called on a star, same as LeBron's travel against the Wiz or Duncan's shifty pivots.

No, you mean Shaq's shifty pivots.

And no that dunk on Nash wasn't a charge. Realistically can shins knock down a person at that position?

Maybe Nash fanboys are embarrased because their boy got owned

Doesn't matter if he fell over or not - he had position, Kobe jumped into him. Case closed. The charge is because of position, not amount of contact. If Nash is in position, his "space" extends from floor to ceiling. IF Kobe violate's that space and makes any contact - "tweet" - foul.

Shaq does have shifty feet as well. It's amazing given the size and weight of these guys that they're feet can't seem to stay in one place.

Doesn't matter. When anyone has position thast solidly and they get dunked on, obviously they're gonna get knocked down. It was a charge. I can't believe some are trying to argue it wasn't.
