Live's fun, but not realistic. The blocks are ridiculous, and the shot arcs are too high. I love the freestyle control, and how they made the D counter the abuse of it, but you won't see players getting wide open by running through screens and hit a wide open J in Live 2003. You will in ID 2003. It's the only one that actually does it though. That's not to say ID 2003 doesn't need improvement in this area though, since I think there should be more of a random movement of the AI in using the screens to get wide open J's.

neo is the biggest ID fanboy do not listen to him. Anyway, for 2k3 to double team and all that crap, it's all in the coaching menus you can change in game. It doesn't do it automatically so you can play exactly how you want. Most people do seem to know this, like neo, but you can do a lot of stuff in 2k3 if you just press pause and go to coaching. I mean, if I was playing and a guy started double teaming out of nowhere I would be like "what the hell?? stop that" whereas in 2k3 I can pick and choose who I want to double team with what defender and if I want to play soft, medium, or tight defense. By the way, they've had these options in since the dreamcast version, so it's not a new feature.Lux y VeritasComment

I think this option has been an option in every basket ball game for a long, long, time. I too enjoy ID 2003 over 2k3. 2K2 was a good game last year but I just like ID 2003 more. I have 2K3 for PS2. I have not played it in a while. You guys throw "fanboy" around too loosely. If 2K3 was clearly the best game on the market, and ID 2003 was of the NBA Starting Five variety, and Neo was arguing that ID 2003 was better without a doubt, then yeah I'd probably call him a "fanboy" but here, that's is not the case!"Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell
