Right... but I think there are certain coaches that are better with using lesser talent than Phil Jackson is. I'm not sure if Phil Jackson were the coach of the Pistons or some of the Spurs teams that they would be as good as they are.

I believe Phil is the best "Ego control" coach in the NBA, but maybe not the best overall coach. He certainly has proven he can win with loaded teams, however hard or easy that may be.

Well, I'm not sure how much of an impact West had on Kobe or Shaq's happiness. Maybe Logo just saw that he did as much as he could with that team, and took off.

West can be attributed to building that team, but Phil made a lot of it work.

He accomplished more than I thought he would... I wasn't sure the Lakers would even make the playoffs. They got to the playoffs, and played a very competitive series against the Suns. Given my own personal idea of what they would accomplish, they exceeded my expectations.

Sure you can. You ask yourself who brought them all there.

Once he left, why did it fall apart?

Why would Shaq say if Jerry West was there he would do so.

I dont think he gets enough credit under all of the Mitch bashing
