Re: MVP Consideration at mid-season
I don't think Dirk deserves it. Take him off the team, and the Mavs are easily still a playoff team. Probably 4th or 5th in the conference.
I wouldn't look at Webber, either. Just not an MVP.
Jason Kidd would be my number one choice. Pretty obvious there.
Garnett would be in second. You guys probably will just write me off as being a homer, but take a look at this...
He's averaging something like 22, 14, 7 per game. He leads the league in double-doubles, and he's third or fourth (first among non-guards) in triple-doubles. He leads all non-guards in APG. He leads his team in PPG, RPG, APG, SPG, and BPG.
He has also single-handely made the Wolves a playoff team. Think about that. The other four starters on the Wolves have routinely been Troy Hudson, Kendall Gill, Joe Smith, and Rasho Nesterovic. Look at those names!Comment

JKidd does pull the entire load for the Nets though, as well as TMac for the Magic, and Shaq and Kobe for the Lakers. Tough calls.

Please explain how the Nets make Kidd better, instead of the other way around.
