Vince Carter gets my vote. Reasoning:

-He gets equal publicity for not playing as playing.
-Gets voted to the All-Star game with 10 games under his belt. 20 he is a lock for MVP.
-Most important. His absence is helping the Raptors toward a nice high lottery pick.

Who has done more by doing so little?

      Re: MVP Consideration at mid-season

Ben Wallace definitely deserved consideration and votes last year.

He's doin great this year too, and he usually goes insane from March-Apr (to have great season ending stats). If he does what he has done the last two years....

      He will end up averaging

      9ppg, 18rpg, 3bpg, 1.4 spg

I won't get much consideration, but he should

The only guys in my eyes who should contend for the award at this point....

      Dirk
      Finley
      Nash
Webber (or Bobby Jackson if still healthy and starting)
      Jason Kidd
Jermaine O'Neal (more consideration should go to Artest tho)
      Ben Wallace
      Shawn Marion/Marbury or Stoudemire
      Garnett

Kobe is not an MVP this year, he hasn't done anything positive except put up individual stats, I'll never win the arguement, but oh well.

Artest- nobody will agree, but his team is 1st and he's the most important on the team, until the playoffs..

Stoudemire- without him Phoenix would be in the gutter
Marion/Marbury- look at what they're doing

      This is mid season tho

by the time it's over, it will be the same damn guys pretty much over and over and over again
