I think there will be a natural life cycle with this change.. Initially a lot of T's will be issued, but after that players will adjust and normalcy will resume.
Right now, it's very early, and players are still at the "feeling out" stage, where they will eventually get an idea of what is, and isn't, acceptable.
I think it's a nice change. It should put the focus more on basketball and less on complaining about fouls and overreacting. On the other side, players shouldn't necessarily be punished for passion, but I think the refs will also start to make adjustments to what they consider T-worthy as the season progresses.
