Re: Biggest underachiever in the NBA?
For me, one guy who I thought has been and still is a major underachiever is Stromile Swift. With the type of length, athleticism, and already decent shotblocking ability, Swift could be a really good player on both ends of the floor. I believe if he had the work ethic and dedication to develop his offensive skills -- like his teammate Hakim Warrick is showing now -- and hustle and pay attention to detail on the defensive end, Swift would likely be an all-star player by now.

Behind Shaq, he should be the most dominant true Center in the league.

At least D-Miles has put up numbers in a couple of seasons. That doesn't mean he hasn't been an underchiever though. Some other high profile picks have never put up decent stats.Comment

Re: Biggest underachiever in the NBA?
I knew he was going to be a bust from the day he got drafted... scratch that... from when he graduated. I never saw anything special in his game, so the Warriors may think he's an underachiever, but I expected all of this.
Biggest Underachiever: Stromile Swift... mainly because he is so damn overrated.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Eddy Curry has the talent to flat out DOMINATE and score 28+ a nice. Instead.... well........"Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment
